See if they understand the thinking bubbles mean.2) Tell them they will hear a conversation between the two students. Ask them to listen and pay attention to the phrases and then write words and phrases from 1a above.3) Check the answers and correct them【拓展运用】post-listening 1c 1) Ask Ss to form groups of three, look at the theme picture only and act out the conversation. 2) Ask Ss to make free conversations about Mario used to be or Ss used to be. Answers: Friendly outgoing active quiet brave silentAsk the Ss to listen again and match each answer in 2b with a question in 2a. Answer any question Ss might raise.
