(the first period)一、教材分析本单元学习的是一般过去时的被动语态,包括一般过去时的被动语态的结构和运用,是在九年级第三单元“Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes”即含有情态动词的被动语态的基础上进一步学习被动语态,为以后被动语态扩展运用到不同时态中奠定基础。本单元涉及内容是本书当中比较重要的一部分。另外通过对我们熟悉经常使用的发明物的历史来开阔眼界,丰富学生的阅历,使学生养成勤于思考,善于总结的好习惯。二、学生分析九年级学生有较明确的学习动机和态度。本单元以发明为载体,通过各种发明和发明家激励学生求知的欲望。对刺激记忆手段多的知识记忆深刻,遵从记忆规律。大多数初中生主要通过他人评价初步形成对自己的评价,所以很在乎他人的评价。同时自我意识不断增强。因此在本课教学过程中,以任务型教学为主,通过任务和不同的评价方式,提高学生参与意识。三、教学目标一、语言知识目标:1)、知识与技能目标: 掌握新词汇invent,invention, inventor, be used for,新句型When was it invented? It was invented in. Whats it used for? Its used for doing something. Who was it invented by? It was invented by.提高听力水平。理解和正确运用被动语态。能谈论重要发明的历史及用途。2)技能目标 能谈论重要发明的历史及用途,能针对各项发明的用处及特点,发表自己的看法,并说明理由。 3)情感目标 使学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明。培养学生的创造发明的能力和愿望二、教学重难点1.教学重点:1)本课时的单词、词组和句型,学习运用一般过去时态的被动语态。2)学会询问发明时间及用途的基本句型:Whenwasthetelephoneinvented?Ithinkitwasinventedin1876.Whataretheyusedfor?Theyareusedforseeingatnight.2.教学难点:运用一般过去时态的被动语态来讨论发明的发明时间及用途。四、教学环境息化资源:主题资源网站常规资源:知识相关链接教学支撑环境:多媒体;五、信息技术应用思路(突出三个方面:使用哪些技术?在哪些教学环节如何使用这些技术?使用这些技术的预期效果是?)20 0字1)多媒体辅助:使用自制的课件,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向交流。2) 通过多媒体和任务的完成学生会突破难点,产生一定创造精神。六、教学流程设计(可加行)教学环节(如:导入、讲授、复习、训练、实验、研讨、探究、评价、建构)教师活动学生活动信息技术支持(资源、方法、手段等)Step1 lead-in T: I get to school by bike every day. He invented the light bulb. he was a great inventor. He invented about 2000 inventions all his life. Make sure the students read the new words correctly and understand theirmeanings.show pictures in 1aT: do you know these inventions? Can you say them in English? whats this in English?SS: its a telephone/computer/television/ calculator/ car.teach the new word: calculatorStep 3 group work 1aT:there are five inventions in this part . Which one was invented the earliest and which one was invented the last? Guess the dates and discuss in what order they were invented.help them to discuss by using the following sentences:I think the television was invented after/before the telephone.I agree/ disagree.Let each group choose one student to write their result on the blackboard.Step 4 listening practice 1bT: which group has the correct result? well listen to a girl and a woman talking about the five inventions. First, review the expression of the year.
