Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.第一课时Section A(1a1c)学校: 西安市第八十一中学 教材版本:人教版 教师 李琼年级 九年级学生人数32 授课时间20161116题目Unit 9I like music that I can dance to. 课时安排 第一课时授课类型听说课教学设计指导思想本着“从课本中来,到生活中去”的理念设计本课内容。中小学英语课程标准指出:英语教学中应体现交际性,要结合学生的年龄特点和生活实际,创设交际情景,通过大量的语言实践,使学生获得综合运用英语和语言技能进行交际的能力。针对初中英语新教材容量大的特点,为了使教学面向全体学生,依据Go for It!教材的课程理念,采用课堂小组合作学习模式,充分发挥学生的创造性与积极性从而提高学生语言综合运用能力,达到准确用定语从句表达自己对某事物的好恶,感悟生活的愉悦和精彩。一、学情分析九年级学生经过了两年的听说读写训练,大多学生具备基本的听说读写译五项技能。本节课的话题内容是学生熟悉也感兴趣的话题即自己喜欢的音乐类型和电影类型。日常生活中,他们已经学过许多表达喜好的方式。但是用定语从句来表达喜好,对于学生来说有一定难度。老师通过大量图片引导学生感知领悟定语从句表达喜好的句式,同时在听情景对话和根据生活实际练习对话过程中,在语言交际中感知定语从句用法以及根据先行词选择合适的关系词,达到听说写的目的,培养学生用语言做事的能力。二、教材分析 本单元以音乐和电影为话题,以表达喜好为主要交际功能,重点学习由that,who和which引导的定语从句。本节课是本单元话题第一课时Section A(1a-2d),听说课。涉及自己喜爱的事物,掌握一些与音乐以及电影相关的词汇,理解that,who和which引导的定语从句在不同语言环境中的功能和作用;阅读语篇主要介绍了不同的电影,以及作者对不同电影的不同感受。首先,通过呈现图片,引导学生复习学过的音乐类型,又学习了新的四种音乐类型。让学生感知定语从句的基本结构,学会认识先行词以及选择合适的关系代词。比如:A: What kind of music do you like?你喜欢什么样的音乐?B:I like music that I can sing along with.我喜欢能随着唱的音乐。A:What kind of musicians does Carmen like?卡门喜欢什么样的音乐家?B:She likes musicians who play different kinds of music.她喜欢能演奏不同种类音乐的音乐家。本节课听说课,让学生逐渐从模仿语言过渡到运用语言,尝试用所学语言表达自己真实想法。本节课是第一课时,在整个单元起到了导入话题并帮助学生热身的作用。音乐以及电影都比较贴近学生生活,能引起共鸣,所以课堂应侧重培养学生的语言实践能力。三、教学目标设计语言目标1.学生能读写并正确使用以下单词及短语:prefer , lyrics2.学生能掌握以下句型:A: What kind of music/movies/musicians do you like?B: I prefer music that/which has great lyrics.I only like movies that/which are funny.I love musicians who play different kinds of music. 3. 学生能初步运用定语从句表达自己对于音乐、音乐家及电影的喜好。4.学生能在定语从句中选用合适的关系词。语言技能提高学生听、说、写的能力。学习策略与思维技巧学生能用掌握表达喜好的句型谈论自己喜欢的音乐,音乐家以及电影及其原因来达到强化训练定语从句而掌握关系代词的用法。学生在学中练,在练中学,提高了听说写能力及综合运用语言的能力。情感态度与价值学生通过谈论自己喜欢的音乐和电影类型,感悟和分享音乐和电影带来的情感体验,培养积极向上的生活情趣。四、教学重点难点教学重点1.单词:(New words)prefer , lyrics2.句式:(Key structures)A: What kind of music/movies/musicians do you like?B: I prefer music that/which has great lyrics.I only like movies that/which are funny.I love musicians who play different kinds of music.3. 学生能初步运用定语从句表达自己对于音乐、音乐家及电影的喜好。4.学生能在定语从句中选用合适的关系词。教学难点学生能初步运用定语从句表达自己对于音乐、音乐家及电影的喜好。五、教学方法及重难点突破教学方法:任务型教学法;情景教学法;自主学习和合作学习。突出重点:(1)学生通过预习完成导学案上自主学案上的词汇以及句式;(2)师生对话,生生对话,小组合作学习、独立完成和教师的思维点拨相结合;(3)利用“Give a report”来强化写的能力以及语言综合运用能力。突破难点:利用导学案上小组合作总结关系代词的用法和prefer的特殊用法。并通过跟踪训练来突破重难点。六、教学准备搜集学生感兴趣的音乐、音乐家以及电影类型;导学案;PPT;评价表。七、教学过程设计教学环节1复习导入教学过程1检查预习导学案完成情况。2Warming-up and lead in: Teacher :Do you love music? Now lets learn Unit9I like music that I can dance to.Section A(1a1c)评价:导学案自主预习全部完成的组别各加10分。少完成一人扣去2分。教师活动a.老师和学生一起朗读导学案(见附件1)上的词汇,一边读一边更正学生的错误,遇到难的重点词汇进行强调。b. 老师核对“翻译句子“,从而让学生把握重难点。c. 通过Free talk “What kind of music do you like ?Why?”导入本节课。学生活动 大声朗读导学案上的词汇和句子的翻译。设计意图1.检查自主学习的成果,同时也使学生养成提前预习的好习惯;让学生朗读,复习再现之前所学的词汇和重点句型,为新课进行做准备。2.通过课前的一个师生问答互动引入新课的话题,美妙的音乐也把同学们带入了一个美好的意境,学习兴趣不言自明。教学环节2呈现词句教学过程1. Show some pictures to present the attributive clause and the new words.T: What kind of. do my family like?Ss:He likes music that / which has great lyrics.She likes music that / which isnt loud.He likes music that / which he can sing along with.He likes music that / which he can dance to.He likes friends who are friendly. 总结:在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。被修饰的名词或代词叫先行词,定语从句一般放在先行词的后面,由关系代词或关系副词引导。先行词指物,关系代词用that 或which在从句中做主语或宾语。先行词指人,关系代词用who 或 that在从句中作主语,作宾语时,用关系代词who、whom 或 that。并且先行词决定从句的谓语动词的数。 2. Which is the machine _ we used last week? 观察总结:当先行词同时指人和物时,关系代词只能用that.当先行词是something, anything, nothing, all 等词时,关系代词只能用that.当先行词被序数词,最高级等词修饰时,关系代词只能用that.当主句是who或which 引导的特殊疑问句,而中心词指人或物时,关系代词只能用that.II把下面单句变成定语从句:1.Im reading a book. You bought it last week._III.拓展提升:prefer是及物动词,意为“更喜欢,更喜爱”,相当于like . better。其用法如下:1) prefer sth.意为“更喜欢”。例如:My grandma preferred country life when she was old. 我奶奶老了更喜欢乡村生活。2) prefer doing / to do sth.意为“更喜欢干”。例如:I prefer watching / to watch a football match. 我更喜欢看足球比赛。3)prefer sb. to do sth.意为“宁愿某人做”。例如:My mother prefers me to stay with her a little longer.妈妈更喜欢我和她多呆一会儿。4)prefer sth. to sth.意为“比起更喜欢”。例如:She prefers loud music to quiet music.比起轻音乐来她更喜欢韵律强劲的音乐。5)prefer doing sth. to doing sth.= prefer to do sth. rather than do sth. 意为“喜欢做而不喜欢做”或“宁愿做而不愿做”。例如: Mary prefers dancing to singing.玛丽喜欢跳舞而不喜欢唱歌。They prefer to stay at home rather than go out with their parents. 他们宁愿呆在家里而不愿和父母出去。 IV.跟踪训练:1.我要茶,谢谢!I tea, thanks.2.我今天更愿意呆在家里。I at home today.3.我们宁愿Tom做我们班长。We our monitor.4.比起桔子,我更喜欢苹果。I apples bananas.5.我宁愿去散步而不愿呆在家里。I for a walk at home. 评价:根据学生自愿程度和合作效果给于每组每人次加1分。教师活动老师组织学生做练习巩固定语从句关系代词的的用法;引导学生合作探究重点词prefer的用法,随后组织学生反馈跟踪训练。教师评价。学生活动学生借助全品听课手册进行合作探究本节课重点句式以及词汇,然后完成练习巩固。设计意图在此环节里,学生形成合作能力,可以进行自我评价和互相评价。同时也可以从别人的写作中学习,这个环节具有实际的作用还可以提高学生自我学习的能力。教学环节7总结和作业教学过程.Summarize :1.Words and phrases:2.
