While-reading 1) Fast-readingNow turn to page 107 and skim the page quickly to find answers to the questions.1. What kind of writing is this?2. Whats the main subject of the writing?3. Who do you think the writer is?Give students 2 minutes to read individually. Then, invite some students to answer the questions to check the work.answers: 1. a poem 2. memories of school 3.a student who will graduate soon设计意图:快速阅读训练,掌握诗歌的主旨大意,对诗歌进行整体感知。2) careful-readingRead the passage again and write out the rhyme.things _ year _ class _land _ school _ flowers _First explain rhymes by reading Chinese poetry. Then, give them 3 minutes to find out the words from the passage that rhyme with the words in the box. As thy work, move around the room checking the progress. Later invite five students to check the answers.Answers: rings, fear, pass, understand, cool, ours Lead students to read these rhyming words. Then, read the whole poem after the tape , lets them enjoy the rhymes. 设计意图:通过跟读训练,模仿语音和语调,来感知诗歌的韵律。 3) Poetry reading Ask students to practice reading the poem. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Finally, invite all the students to read this poem together. 设计意图:诵读本诗歌,培养学生阅读能力,并对本诗内容更熟悉,为读后活动做铺垫。 Step .Post-reading activities Discuss and answer the questions: 1)What activities the writer can remember about his or her life in junior high. Underline the poem. Give them enough time to do this work. As they work, move around the room checking the progress and answering any question they may ask.Later, invite some students to share the experiences . 2)Free talk T:Now, its time to graduate and leave school.How does the writer feel? And how about you ?
