He is late for class.T: Do you ever get to class late?S1:Yes.T:How often do you get to class late?Always, usually,sometimes,or never?S1:Sometimes.T:Oh,you sometimes get to class late.What about others? Next, lets read the questions in 1a and write either “A” for always, “U” for usually, “S “for sometimes and “N” for never.2.Ask a student to read the four questions in the box to the class. Ask them to finish the task on their own. Then remind students of the exact meanings of the adverbs of frequency.Step 3. Practice 1.Have students read the conversation in 1b,and then talk in pairs using their answers in 1a. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations in front of the class.2.Speaking:talk about the pictures (always, usually, sometimes , never)Step 4. listening1.Listen and circle.Call the students attention to the questions in 1a and play the recording and ask students to circle the correct answers.
