Unit 12 Life is full of the unexpected.Section B 1a-1e教学设计一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:fool, costume, embarrassed, costume party.2) 能掌握以下重难点句子:-What happened to Dave on April Fools Day? -Well, a friend invited him to a costume party.2. 能力目标: 1)提高听说技能, 培养从所听到的对话中获取信息的能力和理解关键词和短语的能力, 根据听力信息预测内容的能力。 2)提高学生在不同的语境中使用目标语言的能力。3.情感态度价值观目标: 了解愚人节的文化习俗, 对比中西方文化的异同,热爱生活。二、学情分析通过SectionA的学习,学生已经掌握了本课的重点句型及语法,本课通过听说练习进行进一步的复习巩固和拓展练习;而且学生通过两年多的培训,已经有了自主学习的习惯以及小组合作的意识,这都为本课学习任务的完成奠定了基础。三、教学重难点教学重点:进行听说训练,提高听说的综合能力。教学难点:听说能力的提高和听的策略的掌握。四、教学过程活动1. Daily greeting and lead in Use the new words to lead in. By sharing a story about my last April Fools Day with the students, let them guess the meaning of the words. Ss can discuss them in pairs.Last April Fools Day, my friend invited me to a costume party. I wore a costume.When I got there, I found that I was the only one wearing a costume. So I was really embarrassed. I knew I was fooled by my friend.活动2. LearningFinish 1a. Put these words in the correct columns in the chart. Some words can go in more than one column. 1) Before doing this activity, tell Ss nouns are probably about people, things, places. Verbs are about action words. Description words are probably adjectives. 2) Work on 1a. Remind Ss to pay attention some words may have multiple functions. Give an example. Fool is a noun, it means傻子, and its also a verb, it means愚弄 3) Share the answers with others in class. 活动3. Presentation Ask Ss to answer some questions to know about April Fools Day. Do you know April Fools Day? When is it? How do people usually celebrate it? Show some pictures about April Fools Days jokes to draw Ss attention. 活动4. Listening 1) Before listening, let Ss understand the request of this activity. Look at the four pictures, know and guess whats in the pictures and how the persons feel.2) Listen to the tape for the first time, write each persons name under the correct picture. Check the answers.3) Get Ss to read the following sentences, predict what words they may fill, and then listen to the tape for the second time, fill in the blanks.
