In the move ，low-key lighting，rainfall day and a subdued color palette .here I will show you the characters of film noir and to reveal the diversities or similarities between seven and the science of the lambs.【key words】film noir；difference；similarity1. whats film noir and its backgroundfilm noir is a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas，particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual motivations .Hollywoods classic film noir period is generally regarded as stretching from the 1940s to the late 1950s.film noir of this period is associated with a low-key black and white visual style that has roots in German expressionist cinematography. The term film noir （French for“black film”）first applied to Hollywood movies by French critic Ninofrank in1946，was unknown to most American film industry profession of the classic era.2. characters of film noir Crime, usually murder due to moral loss is an essential element of almost all film noirs, in addition to standard-issue greed, jealously is frequently the criminal motivation. a crime investigation by a police detective， or some curious people. And sometimes it is difficult to draw clear lines between good and bad，or stale with certainty who it is that occupies the high moral ground.3. Cold-blooded killer come to the world as a preacher and eventually killed himself. From one perspective, there is no distinction between good and evil in the tragedy，as a tiny human ，we have to accept the trial of fate. (2)An abnormal society produces such a killer. In real life, the United States continued occurred serial killer cases .it reflected in the film somehow.(3)Seven reflected the darkest side of human nature, although it is fictional .As the old detective said” if we caught John Doe (killer), and he himself is the devil and Satan, maybe thats what we expected .but he was not the devil, he was only a person”what would be more terrible than a person do what evils do? Whats more, killers motivation is based on the name of religion. It seems that there is a certain sense in the killers completely crazy mind; this is the most horrible thing. This film is not simply about killings, and not about a person how to do an evils acts, but about the motivation of these killings. As well as what causes the motivation and what behind the motivation .The science of the lambs is not only a traditional horror film. It is a considerable pent-up psychological drama. In addition to create an atmosphere of fear, the film also set a unique and profound meaning of the social proposition. The police have to ask another crazy mans help in order to catch a crazy killer. It is irony. The dramas of these two films are dark, themes are pessimistic, but because the structures of the novels are script, the performance of the actors are excellent, these made these two films very successful .Milless wife Tracy dead at the end. The movie borrows this allusion to tell audience that the lamb is not only starling, all the people in real society are the lamb somehow .Behind the silence, the terror and the crisis are hind deeply in our hearts all the time. I can still remember this plot in the science of the lambs that bill pretend as a disabled people ，the fat girl came to help him ， because of her kindhearted ，she lost her young life . So awful .I was wondering a thing for a long time, why people became more and more indifference in todays society? Who stole our kindhearted? Now I guess I got something from this movie. The ill people make use of our good heart, then do something bad to us .so terrible, we are afraid and hesitate when we see people who need help. A child lost his way, he asks you to bring him to home, and do you dare? Maybe it is a trap. Sometimes I dont know whats wrong with our society and whats wrong with our human. ConclusionThats all for my writing. Different people have different feelings when they watch these films. But when we watch a movie we must put ourselves in a right and suitable position .thats an important point. Life is full of mystery, when we are in trouble,
