The First Period.Teaching aims and Demands (1) Enable the students to master the new words and phrases.(2) Enable the students to understand the dialogues by talking, discussing and learning.(3) Develop the students abilities of listening, speaking reading and writing. 2. procedure and methods:(1)Mainly apply the direct-vision method, the audio-vision method and situation method. (2)The students will take part in some activities like working in pairs, discussing and playing games in groups to improve their abilities of using language. (3)Apply the pictures etc, to arouse the students interest in learning.3. sensibility and value(1)Encourage the students to communicate in English.(2)Exercise every day and keep healthy and strong.(3)To be a doctor and serve the people heart and soul. The teacher and the students greet each other.2. Free talk.Step Presentation1. Show some pictures about the parts of the body.Ask the students : Do you know the different parts of the body ? Help the students to answer by pointing to the head, the hand, the leg and the foot and so on.2.Point and say the names of any body parts students dont know and teach them to read the words. 3.Watch the video and act. Step Section A 1a1b1. Ask the students to look at the pictures of the students numbered 1 through 5.Several body parts are marked with the letters a -m. Write the correct letter after the name of each body part on the list. 2. Then ask them to role play the conversations in pairs like this: Sa: Whats the matter?Sb: I have a /toothache/headache/stomachache.Step Listening (2a2b)Have the students read the statements in 2a first.1. Play the recording for the students to listen.2. Play the recording a second time and ask students to number them in the right order.3. Check the answers.4. Deal with 2b in the same way. Step Practice 2c Ask a group to present their dialogues to the class. Step Grammar Focus1. Let the students look at the six sentences in the box and read them together.2.
