Section A(1a-1c)一、Teaching aims:1、知识目标:运用重点单词句型进行交际交流来描述人的外貌特征。.单词:hair,curly,long, short, straight , height, tall, medium, thin,heavy,build.句型: - What does he/she look like?-He/She is tall and has long hair.-What do you look like? -Im thin2、能力目标. 能抓住人物特征灵活运用所学单词,短语及句型描述人物外貌。. 使学生能通过听抓住人物的外貌特征,并通过语言交流概括人物的外貌特征或根据人物特征描述来判断猜出是某一人物。3、情感目标通过对同学、教师或自己偶像友好地外貌描述,让学生在人际交往能多发现别人的优点,从而学会理解他人、尊重他人、让学生真正懂得心灵美才是最美,千万不要以貌取人。二、教学重难点教学重点:1、 掌握并运用描述人物特征的词汇: tall,short,of medium height-身高特征 thin,heavy,of medium build-体重特征 short hair,long hair,curly hair,straight hair,black hair,brown hair-发型特征 2、掌握并运用句型: What does he/she look like? He/She is ./has.教学难点:( 1)新词汇的运用,特别是has与is的正确使用,是本节课的一个难点。 (2)掌握描述人物外貌的方法。三、教学过程:Step 1 Warmming-up &lead-in Play a game.(Simon says),then talk about the winner.Step2 Presentation 1.Present the new words and the sentence patterns Play the song T:Can you sing? Do you like this TV show? Now, lets talk about the fathers. (Show some different pictures and ask:what does she/he look like? teach the new words:height,tall, of medium height,short,thin ,heavy curly hair,straight hair .) 2.Show the picture of . Ask students to describe the starsbuild,height,hair in pairs,then let some students act it out.3 Show the picture of 1a.T:Now look at this girl.She is Amy.What does she look like?Can you describe her with some words on the blackboard?Now Amy meets many people.What do they look like?Please match the words with the people in the picture.Check the answers.4.listening.T:Amy is going to meet one of her friend.Look at these people,who is Amys friend?What does she/he look like?Lets listen to the tape and help Amy find her friend,OK?(Play the tape twice,then check the answers.)5.T:One of the people in 1a is your friend,ask your partner to find him/her)1c 6.Group work:(1) Students describe one of the group members in groups.Then every member say a sentence ,the others guess.(2).T:What do I look like ?
