Im going to work on it now.2 Ability Objects:(1) Be able to understand and master the conversations about making a polite request and asking for permission.(2)Enable students to make a polite request and ask for permission.3 Moral Objects:(1) Let students know that its always right to be polite(2)Chores are part of fun in life。.Teaching Key Points:phrases: do the dishes, make the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, sweep the floor, clean the living room sentences: 1. Could you please take out the rubbish? . Sure. / Sorry, I cant. I have to finish homework first.2. Could I use your computer?Sorry. Im going to work on it now.3. Well, could I watch TV?Yes, you can. But first you have to clean your room.Teaching Difficult Points:Be able to make polite requests and ask for permission.Teaching Methods: Task-based language teaching method, the cooperative learning method. The activity teaching method, and multimedia-assisted teaching and learning method.Teaching Aids:The pictures about chores; charts; PPT.Teaching Procedures:Step 1 Warming-up( about 3 minutes)T:Good morning everybodyS: Good morning Miss ZhengT:How are you today?S: I am fine.Free talk:T: what did you do last weekend?Ss: I watched TV. I slept all day . I did my domeworkT: you were really relaxed. But I am very busy. I need to do many chores. Lets look at the pictures and say what chores I need to do.(由闲聊话题上周末你做了什么?引入本课时话题,衔接自然) Step 2 Presentation( about 3 minutes) 1. show the pictures to teach the these phrases: do the dishes, make the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, clean the living room.Step3 pair work( about 5 minutes)1. 1a Do you do these chores at home? Discuss them with your partner.Ask students to read the chores in 1a and choose some students to say what chores they do at home.Give an example and have them talk about the chores in 1a like this in pairs:A: what chores do you usually do at home?B: I usually sweep the floor. What about you?A: I usually fold the clothes.Ask students to show their conversations in class.Step 4 Listening ( about 5 minutes) 1b Listen. Who will do these chores? I am doing.Step 6 Listening 2a&2b( about 6minutes)Peter asks his father if he can do four things. What does his father say? Check () “yes” or “no”. Listen again. Draw lines to the reasons. (before listending ,give one minute for students to know the meanings of the sentences after listening,check answers )Peter wants toPeters father saysHis fathers reasonsgo out for dinner.
