From the design point of view, 1a - 1 c activities aimed at present, English expression, to learn about different ways aid for vocabulary input stage. (2 a - 2 d activities through listening, speaking practice after learning vocabulary, and experience in listening training process verbs do not timing, and the use of the phrasal verbs.)This part of the teaching focus is learning with modal verbs could express Suggestions, correct use of the aid, phrasal verbs, and the expression of related expression of verb infinitive.【Language Goal】Offer help Vocabulary: clean up, cheer, cheer up, give out, volunteer Grammar Focus: You could help to clean up the city parks. Id like to help homeless people.Grammar: By modal verbs could advice.【核心素养】 Penetration in the process of teaching to help others is to help yourself, help others harvest happy emotion goal, so that the students are talking about how to offer help to others dialogue can realize, do our best to help others, dedication, is a kind of good moral character, training students for others, love public welfare undertakings, and the fine quality of helpfulness.【Important points】 1) Master the structure and usage of phrasal verbs: clean up, cheer, cheer up, give out, volunteer 2) Learn to help the basic sentence patterns:I hope to work outside. You could give out food at the food bankStep 2 Discussion 1a1. Look at the ways you could help people in the picture. Then list other ways. The picture shows a young and a young woman looking at notice board on a wall Volunteer Today! There are posters on the notice board which show different ways people can volunteer: helping to clean up the city parks, visiting sick kids in the hospital, or helping stop hunger. The young man wants to work outside, so the young woman suggests that he could clean up the city parks. 2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the ways one could help others: Help to clean up the classroom Help to clean up the BbHelp the kids with their schoolworkHelp to do some washing Visit the sick kids to cheer them upStep 3 Listening 1b1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. 1b.
