Teaching aids: CAI.Teaching methods: Five-finger Teaching Plan; Total Physical Response;Visual Presentation Method.Teaching Procedures: Step1 Greetings and Lead-in1. Make a brief self-introduction of myself and greet with the students, and then ask some personal information of some students to narrow the relationship between the students and I.2. Have a short dialog with the students like this:T: How are you today?Ss: Im fine, thank you. And you? T: Im not very well today. I think I have a cold.(Let out a loud sneeze). Lead to learn the expression of different illnesses.3. Show different patients on the screen to learn phrases of illnesses. Teach them to read and do the actions at the same time. And then ask some students to read them and correct their mistakes in pronunciation. At last, read the phrases together. 4. Play a guessing game: Ask one student to come to the front to act different illness, the others guess and say: “He/She has. “ Step2 Presentation1. Ask the students not to open their books. Read the three questions on the screen of 1b. Listen to the record of 1a, and then choose the correct answers. Check the answers. Finish 1b.2. Listen to 1a again and then ask the students follow it for twice. And then read it freely, together and in roles. 3. Task 1: Look at the sentences of Part2 on Page2. Complete the sentences with the phrases in the box.2. Task 2:Listening Practice: Listen to the conversations in 3,number the pictures first and then listen again and write down the advice, using should/shouldnt. Step 5 Project1. Acting Time.
