Unit6 Im watching TV. Section B 2a-2c 第四课时【教材分析】 本单元主要是运用现在进行时描述此刻正在发生的活动。Section A 部分主要呈现了一些家庭日常活动的动词短语,并通过“打电话”的情景对话呈现现在进行时的语言结构,训练学生运用该结构来表达和谈论正在发生的事情。Section B通过对谈论不同地点发生的不同事情来巩固现在进行时,同时运用时差引入讨论世界各地不同地方的人同一时刻进行不同的活动,是对Section A 所学知识的巩固、拓展与提升。 本节课是阅读部分,是对本单元知识的巩固,阅读材料是关于中国传统节日端午节。阅读语篇涉及中美文化,以及一些含有现在进行时的句子,以及在特定的节日人们的感受,训练学生的综合运用能力。材料中有些文本的传达需要引导学生在上下文语境中体会其语言表达的确切含义。【学情分析】 学生在学习了了本单元3个课时的内容后,对于本单元的话题已经有了一定程度的知识积累,对于现在进行时有一定的基础,而对于端午节则是中国的传统节日,学生有一定的背景知识,因此学习本节课应该不是很难。【教学目标】1. Objective of knowledge and skill: (1) Master some key words and phrases of this class. (2) Be able to talk about worlds time difference and the corresponding activities .2. Objective of process and method:(1) develop students ability of reading skill and reading strategies though a passage(2) Autonomous and cooperative approach3. Ask students “ what time is it and what are they doing in the pictures. Finally let students make a dialogue according to the pictures in PPT. See some pictures and answer the questions. Then make a dialogue with their partners.本环节主要巩固和复习现在进行时用法, 并通过小组活动中继续加深学生对时态的认识。Step 2 lead-inPre-readingWatch a video about Dragon Boat FestivalShow some pictures about Dragon Boat Festival. Then ask students what special day it is. Finally play a video to show some information of Dragon Boat Festival Watch the video and get some information of Dragon Boat Festival导入话题,通过视频激发学生兴趣,并给学生提供一定的背景知识,让学生了解本篇文章的写作背景,达到读前预测。Step3 Present the topicWhile-readingReading for some general information:Tasks 1: find out the main idea of each paragraphTalk about some information of Zhuhui and teach some new words when mentioned. Then Check the answers to the reading passageParagraph1: Activities of Zhuhuis familyParagraph2: Activities of Zhuhuis host familyLearn some new words. Then read the passage to finish the task.快速阅读,让学生学会如何抓住主旨句,整体感知文章,理清文章脉络,学会通过段落的关键词得到段落大意,学会总结合与归纳。Step 4 Reading for detail information. Read the text with questions:Task 1: Read the passage quickly and find some information about Zhu Hui. (1). What does Zhu Hui do? And where is he from?(2) Where is Zhu Hui now? What is he doing?(3) Who is Zhu Hui living with?Task 2: Read Para.1 carefully and answer: (1) What festival is it today in China? (2) What are Zhu Huis family doing at home? Leave 4 minutes for students to finish these tasks. Then invite some students to say out their answers. Next , show mind-maps of each paragraph. Read the passage and answer some questions on their papers. Then complete the mind-map with the teacher.带着问题阅读课文,寻找信息,问题的解决有利于于学生获取文章信息。Step 5 deeply reading. Answer the following questions:1. Does Zhu Hui like his host family?2. What does he think about his home in China?Ask students to read the passage again and find out the information. Lead students to understand and get the right answer of question 2.Read the passage again and answer questions.任务驱动,适当指导,深入感知文章。Step6 Pos-reading(Activity 2c)Finish activity 2c according to the passageLet students do the matching activity and check the answer in groups.Finish activity 2c and check the answer in groups.完成练习,检测中文章的语言知识掌握情况,通过小组合作探究得出正确答案,培养学生的合作探究能力。Step7 Retelling the passage Show the mind-map of the passage and let students retell the story in their groups and then invite someone to present the retelling.Retell the passage in group and then show it for the whole class.学生再次熟悉文本,并在熟悉和理解的基础上,对文本信息进行整理,用自己的话表达出来,熔理解,记忆,归纳和表达与一炉,有利于学生的口头能力的发展,激发学生积极思考。Step 8 find out some important words or sentences.Ask students to read the passage and find out some words , phrases or sentences that are important or beautiful and share with the whole class. Work in groups. Then evaluate together.Students work in group and find out some important words or sentences. Then write down on the blackboard. Students appreciate the sentences and words together.语言理解的深化。引导学生关注词语的多样性(好词好句),并在情景中加以内化。在语言理解的层次上关注语言形式,有利于学生的外语学习. 带领学生一起欣赏语言,学会运用。Step9 writing:If you are Zhuhuis friend, write a letter to him and tell him what you and your family are doing on Dragon Boat Fstival.Let students talk about what they are doing on Dragon Boat Festival. Next leave 6minutes for them to write a short passage. Show some information to help students:(People(人物): I; mom; dad; brother; sister; grandparents; uncle; aunt; cousinActivities(活动): watching TV; reading ; studying ; listening to a CD talking on the phone; using the computer; shopping; making dumplings(饺子);Students discuss first and then try to write a letter to Zhuhui.注重学生语言输入后的输出,以读,说促写,深入感知语言,熟悉句式,学以致用。Step 10 summaryLead students to summary what we have learn in this period and Unrid the puzzles for the students答疑解惑,鼓励学生形成阅读的策略,拓展思维。Step 11 Homework :Finish your composition and make it better.完善作文,引领提升。【板书设计】 Unit6 Im watching TV.
