Unit 4 Dont eat in class.( 1a-1c)I. Analysis of the text:This lesson is based on unit 4 1a-1c. This is the first period of the whole unit. It is mainly about rules and the usage of imperative sentence and modal verbs. In this period, students need to talk about rules and make rules by using modal verbs and imperative sentences. II. Analysis of the students:Students of grade 7 have gained some simple sentences and certain words, but still need further training. Some of them become weary of studying. What we should do is to arouse their interests in learning and to encourage them to have a vision for their future.III. Teaching aims:Knowledge aims:To grasp target phrases and sentences:in class, in the dinning hall, in the hallways, arrive late for class, listen to music, fight, Whats the rule? We cantWe mustDont. Ability aims: To enable students to tell the rules by using imperative sentence and use modal verbs like “cant,must”to talk about rules.To train students speaking, listening and writing skills.Moral aims:To lead students to follow the rules and to be good students. IV. Teaching key points: To generally understand imperative sentence and grasp the target words and sentences.Teaching difficult points:To use imperative sentence to make rules. Enable students to use “cant,must” to talk about the rules. V.
