Students can use the target words, shoot, begin, god,remind, bit, silly, word on, finish doing sth., be moved by, think about, a little bit, instead of.2. Students can acquire the names of four stories.3. Students can combine the key words with sentences.4. Structures:1)This story reminds us that 2) I think its a little bit silly.3) But what could Yu Gong do instead of moving the mountains?Ability ObjectsStudents are able to tell a story in English by their own.Enable students get the meaning of cooperation.Emotional Objects Enable students get the meaning of cooperation.教学重点Students can acquire the structure of an English story well, and they can tell a story in English.教学难点Students learn some target language about telling a story and be able to tell a story in their own words.Step1. GreetingGreeting students.Step2. Leading in 1. Ask and answer Question1: What were you doing last night?Question2: Were you reading stories last night?2. Show the pictures of foreign stories Show pictures of stories in western countries, such as, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Step3. Presentation1. Learn the Chinese stories. Show pictures of the four stories, and lead students to learn the names of the stories. 2. Pair work Guide students do a pair work like this, A: Which story do you like best? B: I like.best. A: Why do you like it? B: Because its. T: You discussed your favorite story. Do you know which story I like? 3. Lets watch a video. 1) When you watch the video please think this question, how does the story begin? 2) Play the video. 3) Ask students to answer the question. 4. Discussion Divide students as six groups, then give them some key words on PPT. Guide them discuss the question as below one by one.1)How does the story begin?2)What happened next?3) How does the story end?There are three periods in this part. After students show their answer, teacher gives proper advice, and help students check the correct answers. In addition, guide students conclude the methods of telling story.Read the story in different ways. 5. Mind map learning. Review the way of telling a story, and summarize the structure of the story. Then lead students conclude the mind map. Step5. Consolidation and Practice Group work Guide students retell the story An Old Man Moves a Mountain without books. Three groups retell the story and the other three give their comments. In this part, students but also learn how to appreciate others and get the proper way of giving advise. Step6. Emotional education This story reminds us that you can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen. According this sentence, students can feel the power of action. And they will know how to face difficulties in our life. Step7. Summary Invite
