Unit5 Why do you like pandas?1教材分析:这次上课的内容选自新目标Go for it!七年级下册第五单元Why do you like pandas? Section A 1a,2d和Section B 1c。本堂课围绕“animals”展开一系列教学活动。该话题贴近学生生活,有趣的动物能激发学生的好奇心。本堂课要求学生掌握一些新的动物名词,学会用表示性质和品质的形容词来描述动物,运用所学的知识表达自己的喜好,并能用“Why do you like ? Because ”来陈述喜欢的原因。通过讨论养宠物,让学生了解中西方文化的差异,从而更加关爱动物;通过讨论自身喜好及原因,提高学生的认知、思维能力。2学生分析:为了能让自己的课堂更加的有效,我在日常的教学过程中一直非常关注的问题是我教什么,怎么教才能让学生真正的学有所获,真正的做到以生为本。我今年两个班的学生整体的学习英语的热情比较高,句型“Why do you like?Because”在七年级(上)已有涉及,对学生来说并不陌生,容易掌握。加上这堂课的话题贴近学生生活,从而能够很好的激发他们的好奇心,使他们产生了解的欲望,有利于引导他们更好的参与课堂。 3教案设计:教学目标:(一)语言知识目标a.掌握表示动物的单词: animal, tiger, elephant, panda, lion, zoo, animal ,giraffe, cat(四会) koala(非四会)b.使用正确、得体的形容词和副词来描述动物: kind of, shy, clever, friendly, beautiful, lazy ,smart, cute(四会),scary (非四会)。c.掌握其它的单词:map, other, sleep, pet, leg(四会)。 d.运用why和because得体谈论对动物的喜好并陈述原因:E.g.: Why do you like koalas? Because they are cute. / They are kind of / very / really shy.Why does she / he like koalas? Because they are interesting.(二)语言技能目标a.学生能用表示性质和品质的形容词来描述动物:Koalas are kind of cute.b.学生能表达对动物的喜好并陈述原因,如:I like koalas. Because they are very cute.(三)情感态度目标a.该单元话题贴近学生生活,有趣的动物能最大限度地激发学生的好奇心,使他们产生了解的欲望,有利于引导他们自主学习。 b.熟知相关动物的词汇,了解一些地域常识以及动物的产地,从而培养学生热爱动物的情感的意识。c.学生用英语交流各自的喜好,懂得客观认识自己,正确认识他人,关心并体谅他人的情感。教学重难点:(一)教学重点a. Topic: Describe the animals; express preference and give reasons.b. Key words: 四会:animal, tiger, elephant, panda, lion, zoo, animal ,giraffe, cat ,kind of, shy,clever, friendly, beautiful, lazy ,smart, cute, map, other, sleep, pet, leg非四会单词:koala, scary.c. Key sentences:Why do you like koalas? Because they are cute. / They are kind of / very/really shy.Why does she / he like koalas? Because they are interesting.What animals do you like? I like dolphins.What other animals do you like? I like dogs, too.(二)教学难点a学会用形容词以及一些程度副词来描述动物。b能用英语表述自己的好恶并用because引导的句型陈述原因。教学步骤:Step 1: Revision1. Let the students watch a video about animals. 2. Ask them where people usually go to see the animals.3. Let the students make the rules in the zoo.(复习第四单元的rules,引出话题。)Step 2: Lead in1. Let the students read the pictures in 1a. T: What animals can you see in the pictures?S: I can see a/an_/_s.(引导学生说完整的句子,同时关注单复数。)2. Lead them to spell the words and write them on the Bb. (教单词的时候关注音标教学。)3. Let students guess what animals I like best.4. T: My favorite animals are elephants because they are friendly. What about you?S: My favorite animals are _ because they are _. (让学生操练动物并且带出形容词,再用完整的句子来阐述自己的观点。)Step 3: Pair work1. Ask and answer with their friends.A: Do you like ? B: Yes, I do./No, I dont.A: Why do/dont you like ?B: Because they are 2. Take notes while others are making the conversations. (培养他们倾听的习惯,听完后用第三人陈来阐述同学们的观点。)Step 4: Listening 1. Listen and write the words in 1c.2. Check the answers in this way: Mary/Tony thinks_ are _.3. Lead them to say their ideas together. (听前灌输听力策略:抓关键词和写首字母,校对答案的时候关注完整句子的输出。)4. Do some exercises about “kind of” and “kinds of”.5. Listen and get the missing words in 2d. (用填词的方式处理2d里面出现的形容词,对前面的内容进行巩固并训练听力技巧。)6. T: Who is he/she in the conversation? S: The pet dog/cat. (代词指代的是宠物,灌输中西方文化的差异。)Step 5: Discuss.1. Discuss with their partners about their favorite animals and the animals they dont like.2. Fill in the blanks.Likes birdsReasons:They areThey canThey likeDislikes tigers3. Give a report.Hello!
