梅州市梅江区城北中学 刘玉秀 古遂平 张菡基本信息课题新人教版 八年级下 Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.第一节听说课(Section A 1a-2d)教材分析本节课是八年级Unit6 section A的听说部分。本节课的主题是：An old man tried to move the mountains。本节课主要围绕故事这一主题，试着告诉学生一些中国著名的故事，特别是愚公移山的故事。本单元的要点，通过愚公移山的故事，让学生了解并掌握讲故事的开头与结尾的句型，鼓励学生在课堂多说多练。本节课渗透的学习策略是以听带动学生说。学情分析作为一所农村学校的初二学生，他们害怕在课堂上说英语，但他们对于故事很感兴趣。因为他们对于愚公的故事有所了解，这就有利于他们运用自已会的词来理解故事。作为老师，希望通过听说的方式帮助他们对整个故事进行把握，同时学会对故事进行复述。教学目标1. 语言知识目标：1) 能掌握以下单词：shoot, stone, weak, god, remind能掌握以下句型： How does the story begin? What happened next? How to end the story?2) 能够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续等。能够对故事中的人物或情节发表一些简单的看法或观点。2. 情感态度价值观目标： 学习愚公，要学习他“主动挖山”的精神。在我们生活工作中存在着很多的“山”。在这些山的面前我们应该采取怎样的态度对待它？是通过“搬家”来避开它或找领导请求帮助；还是像愚公一样明知困难却迎难而上，凭借自己的力量勇敢地克服困难。愚公不畏艰险，不怕困难，勇敢面对的精神，正是值得我们学习的。教学重点和难点1. 教学重点：1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词：shoot, stone, weak, god, remind2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型：How does the story begin?What happened next?
