Its higher than any other mountain.教学难点:形容词和副词的比较级和最高级变化规则和用法。Step 1 Warming-up1. Watch the photos and talk about them.Then ask“What is the highest mountain in the world?” and help the students to answer: Its Qomolangma. Then ask the students read the title of this lesson twice.2. Let the students know about the learning aims. Ask them read the learning aims in Chinese.Step 2 Check the preview.1. Ask some of the students to check.2.Learn the new words and point phrases in group.3.Watch the photos and talk about them.Ask“What is the highest mountain/the biggest desert/the deepest salt lake/ the longest river in the world?”“How_is it?” and help the students to answer.Step 3 Group work.1.Ask the students to read key sentences by themselves first ,make sure to understand them well and can read them fluently. Then ask them to learn with each other in groups.
