Unit7 Section A ( 3a 3c )教材分析:本课阅读主要讲的是珠穆朗玛峰的相关知识和登山者为了梦想而努力奋斗的精神,这正是本课的情感目标,而且知识面广,趣味性强,提高了学生的阅读兴趣。通过阅读学习新词汇和新句型,既引导学生发现登山者身上自我挑战的精神,也提高学生的阅读能力,又能够积累语句,加强记忆,为英语写作打下牢固的基础。 学情分析:虽然这个reading 词汇量很大,句子很长,但是课文与珠穆朗玛峰登山者有关,且学生有一定的地理知识,借用相关的图片和材料,视频,能激起学生的学习兴趣参与课堂活动。教学目标 知识目标1. key vocabulary : thick clouds , include , freezing weather , condition , succeed, achieve , achievement, challenge, take in air, in the face of 2. Target language : one of the most dangerous sports is mountain climbingIt is very hard to take in air as you get near the top. It also shows that humans can sometimes be stronger than the force of nature3. Structure : large numbersComparative and superlatives with adjectives能力目标:1. Be able to get the main ideas of the article by skimming2. Enable students to talk about the facts of the world by using the numerals and the comparatives and superlatives with adjectives and adverbs.情感目标:Encourage students to face the challenges and difficulties in life bravely, keep trying to achieve their dream.教学重点1. Make sure the students can understand the facts of the world and can get the main ideas by skimming.2. Use the comparatives and superlatives of adjectives correctly.教学难点Master the usage of the comparatives and superlatives of adjectives.教学工具The pictures about nature, a short video , PPT教学过程:Step1 Review and Leading in 1. Review the picture in la and tell Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world 2.Ask questions: Is it the most dangerous and the most popular place for the mountain climbers?(设计意图:设置疑问吸引学生进入课文阅读)Step2 Presentation1 . T: How much do you know about Qomolangma? Play a video and then answer the questionWhats the weather like on the top of Qomolangma?2. Ask some students to discuss and answer the questions after watching the video.3.
