Section B 课型Reading & Writing适用年级（学段）七年级下册一、设计思路及依据说明本课是读写课设计思路：首先通过我的朋友给我寄的关于大象的明信片引入话题并运用图片、观看视频谈论大象; 然后通过选择合适的标题、根据短文回答问题、完成思维导图等训练学生skimming, scanning, detailed reading等阅读策略与技巧;最后过渡到我国的国宝-熊猫，并以熊猫为主题进行语言输出。二、教学背景分析学生分析1. 学生已有知识和经验七年级下学期的学生具有一定的英语基础和表达能力，学习的意识和目的性进一步增强。他们喜爱动物，比较关注环保话题，通过本单元前半部分的学习能够熟练地描写动物外貌和能力以及表达自己对动物的喜恶等。2. 学生学习方法和技巧学生在教师的引导下主动参与和自主探究。根据中学生的心理特点，教师在这节课需通过鼓励、小组合作等方式调动其参与课堂活动的积极性，引导学生积极参与个体阅读、小组讨论等课堂活动，完成本节课学习任务。教材及本课重难点分析第五单元的话题是描述动物以及表达对动物的喜恶。本节阅读课是Section B的第二课时，是在Section A熟练描述动物以及表达对动物喜恶和学习Section B 了解了大象熊猫的信息的基础上进一步进行阅读训练，既复习巩固并运用前面所学的内容，又学习这篇报道说明文特征，为3a-3c部分的说明文写作做铺垫，因为Section B的教学难点是说明文的写作。三、教学目标与策略分析教学目标（1）Knowledge aims:Key words (save; flag; forget; place; water; symbol; danger; cut; down; tree; kill; over) and target language(We want to ; save the; be in great danger; cut down; a symbol of; be made of; get lost; kill. for; lose ones home) （2）Ability aims: To be able to talk about favorite animals.
