Step 2: Leading inThe teacher shows the slide of blenders, and asks: What are these? What do we usually use them to do?T: Its said that banana milk shake is very delicious. Do you know how to make a banana milk shake?Step 3: 1aT: Now open your books at page57,1a. Look at the picture. What can you see?S: The picture shows some actions.T: What are these actions? Now lets read words in 1a. Follow me, please.Ask students to write the names of the actions on the blanks.Step 4: 1bT: Do you want to make a banana milk shake? What should we do first? What should we do then? Now lets listen to the tape.Play the recording for the first time. Students just listen.Play the recording the second time. There are some ingredients to make salad in the picture. What are they?S: Yogurt, apples, honey, bananas, watermelon, oranges.T: OK. Now listen to the tape and fill these words in the chart.S: How much: yogurt, honey How many: bananas, watermelons, apples, orangesT; Some words like honey and yogurt are uncountable nouns. Others like apples are countable nouns. We use countable nouns after how many , and we use uncountable nouns after how much.Step 6: 2b.T: We usually say three bananas, because banana is a countable noun. And we say one cup of yogurt, now because yogurt is an uncountable noun.Listen again, please. Write the ingredients under the correct amount in the chart. Fill in the chart.Step 7: 1c & 2c1cPairwork: First, show the slide, introduce the steps of making a banana milk shake together, then work in pairs. Ask some students to say the steps according to the pictures.2cT: Do you want to make the fruit salad now and here? Lets have a try.
