How to improve Listening Listening ,which is one of English language skills, is a skill of understanding. But listening is the most difficult for our Chinese students. Getting through the difficulty will be helpful for the improvement of the other skills. American Paul blue Professor Jin statistics show, listening 45% which accounts for peoples daily speech activity, saying accounts for 30%, reading accounts for 16%, writing only accounts for 9%. Listening ,speaking ,reading and writing of five aspects of university students English integration capability , translating, listening stands in the breach; However, for most students, listening is a weak point. A lot of English learners all have such a feeling: A same article, to read is easier to understand than to hear; In the course of understanding of hearing, familiar to the ear to a certain word, when remembering a words meaning, a few sentences have already been read. The reason to cause this phenomenon relates to the fact that a lot of English learner is used to reading English . So, want to improve hearing, it is essential to form the good and correct study habit. How to improve students listening level effectively?
