Unit 6 In the kitchen Story time一、教学目标: 1.知识目标:(1)能听懂、会读、会说、会写单词:bread, meat, potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables, look for, love. (2)听懂、会说、会读单词:game,smell,meat,ready,yummy,(3)能熟练运用日常交际用语Are you cooking meat?No,Im not.Im washing some vegetables.I cant wait.Hows the meat/soup? Its yummy/nice.与他人进行交流。 2.能力目标: 能初步理解使用现在进行时的一般疑问句形式并作出正确回答。 3.情感目标:(1)培养学生积极参与,快乐合作的学习品质。(2)使学生能够热爱生活,学会赞赏他人,尊重他人劳动成果。二、教学重难点: 教学重点:(1)能熟练运用日常交际用语Are you cooking meat?No,Im not.Im washing some vegetables.I cant wait.Hows the meat/soup?Its yummy/nice. 并与他人进行交流。(2)初步理解课文含义。教学难点:能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元的句型和日常交际用语。三、课前准备:教具准备:课件、教学光盘、实物。板书准备:Unit 6 In the kitchen Story time四、教学过程: Step 1 Greetings 1.Greetings Good morning,boys and girls.Nice to see you.2.Free talkT:Whats your favourite food?学生说说自己喜爱的食物,教师评价。T:I like tomatoes.(出示西红柿的实物) Do you like tometoes? I like potatoes too.(出示土豆的实物) Tomatoes and potatoes are vegetables.Do you like vegetables?Step 2 Presentation 1. Play a game (PPT出示单词及图片内容)Rules: Say“Yeah, yeah, yeah” if it is true. Say “No, No, No”if it is false.2 .Show the pictures of unit 6 T: Here are Liu Tao and his parents, where are they? Ss: In the kitchen T: Bingo! They are in the kitchen.(Show the title, students read together.) Do you want to know which food do they have?Lets watch the cartoon and choose the food.Teach the words: meat, potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables.3. Watch the cartoon and answer the questions.What is Dad cooking?Does Mum want to cook potato soup?Whats Liu Tao looking for in the fridge?Teach: tomato soup,meat with potatoes,smell,yummy4.
