西安海棠职业学院基础部新视野英语教程2教学大纲 英语教研室 新视野大学英语读写教程2教学大纲前 言为适应我国高等教育发展的新形势,深化教学改革,提高教学质量,满足新时期国家和社会对人才培养的需求,西安海棠职业学院特制定出符合我校教学实际情况的新视野大学英语读写教程2教学大纲,作为我校非英语专业高职高专英语教学的主要依据。一、课程的性质和目标新视野大学英语读写教程课程是大学生的一门必修的基础课,它是以英语语言知识与应用能力、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。新视野大学英语读写教程教学的目的是培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、读、写、译能力,使他们能用英语交流信息。新视野大学英语读写教程教学应帮助学生掌握良好的语言学习方法,打下扎实的语言基础,提高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。二、教学对象教学对象为我校非英语专业的专科生。入学时,他们应已掌握基本的英语语音和语法知识,并在读、听、写、说等方面受过初步的训练。三、教学基本要求1.词汇要求掌握3,000单词,以及由这些词构成的常用词组700条(中学所掌握的单词和词组均包括在内),并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。2.语法巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在课文中运用语法知识的能力。3.阅读能力能顺利阅读语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能进行一定的分析、推理和判断,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟50词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能掌握中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟80词。4.听力能力能听懂英语讲课,并能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟80100词的简短会话、谈话、报道或讲座,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度。5.口语能力能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行问答和复述,能用英语进行一般的日常会话,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后做简短发言,表达思想比较清楚,语音语调基本正确。6.写作能力能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答问题和写提纲,能就一定的话题或提纲在半小时内写出80100词的短文,能写短信或便条,表达意思清楚,无重大语言错误。7.翻译能力能借助词典将难度与课文相当的的英语短文译成汉语,理解正确,译文达意,译速为每小时250英语单词。能借助词典将内容熟悉的汉字材料译成英语,译文达意,无重大语言错误,译速为每小时200汉字。四、教学方法与重点 新视野大学英语读写教程课堂教学改变传统的以教师讲授为主的单一课堂教学模式,积极采用新的教学方法,真正体现英语教学的实用性、文化性和趣味性融合的原则,以现代化信息技术,特别是网络技术为支撑,使英语教学朝着个性化、自主式学习方向发展,不断提高学生语言能力,是英语课程教改的重点五、教学内容及学时分配新视野大学英语读写教程2课开设1学期,每周4学时,共16周 。本课程使用教材为新视野英语读写教程2,作者郑树棠,周国强,外语教学与研究出版社出版。总 学 时:64 技能课:0 理论:60 复习考试:4内容名称:新视野英语第二册教学目的要求、内容和方法Unit OneTopic: Symbols of Culture【目的要求】Section A : 1.
