Internet Culture is Dispelling Moral Values Abstract: This paper mainly concerns that internet culture is changing peoples values and living style, and traditional morals are replaced by individualisms, sensory enjoying and venal behaviors. Only with perfect development of law, technique and cultural construction can internet culture be healthy and can moral values not be vulgarized. Key words: internet culture, moral values, dispel, constructionI Introduction With the rapid development of the society, peoples life is being much faster and people concern more about materials. The internet and computers are closely related to peoples life with the advantages of convenience and being easy to carry. As a result, the living styles, thinking patterns and valves are changing. This is the so-called internet culture. From a narrow sense, internet culture means all kinds of cultural activities related with computers and internet. On a broad sense, it includes all social cultural phenomena, economic, political and military fairs connected with computers. Even though internet culture animates peoples spiritual life, and enriches cultural connotations, its negative side is becoming much more obvious. There is no doubt that internet culture is dispelling and overturning traditional values.II The main expressions of internet cultures dispelling traditional moral values1. sensual enjoyment replaces rational thinkingBeing a state of ceremonies, China focuses on personality and sublimation of spirits. So Confucius said: “At fifteen my heart was set on learning; at thirty I stood firm; at forty I had no more doubts; at fifty I knew the mandate of heaven.” Although Chinese people are not good at rational thinking, they have never considered sensual enjoyment as the first important thing. But now people pursue materials even have lost their cultural values. It is true that these kinds of phenomenon are related to Social Transformation; however, the internet culture has intensified the situation. Email, chatting online and making friends through the internet make people feel that they are with each other though far apart. But the overflow of online pornographic culture and western powerful cultural infiltration make people purse individual sensual enjoyment instead of spirits. It is mainly expressed in the following aspects: 1) Internet opium-the prevailing lust, lure and violence. Judging from the characteristics of internet culture, Internet culture is informative, entertaining, interesting, and political. It includes maps, text, sound, and images which have strong and fraudulent concealment. The virtual nature of Internet culture allows users to express their stress, personalities and depression in real life and study through the internet while they are losing themselves intentionally. In that way, netizens can get psychological catharsis and satisfaction. An increasing number of net potatoes have been lost in the ocean of internet culture, which results in realization of online pornography and violent. People begin to pursuit virtual world things. Thus, people are more interested in making internet culture into real culture. Violent murder, one-night stand and other immoral things make peoples moral characters vulgar.2) As the network has a large amount of information, rapid spread, easy to use and difficult to control features, some of the networks dazzling scenery are greatly spread to speed up the users sensory experiences. For example, the star on line Feng Jie (formerly named Luo Yufeng). Because of the fast propagation, Feng Jie can be a night star, sought after by many people. From Feng Jie event, we can see that people use the network to meet their inner emptiness. This is internets impact on traditional morality and modern peoples rational thinking. If people do not have inner emptiness, or not lack of rational thinking, Feng Jie incident would not occur. It insinuates that modern internet culture makes peoples aesthetic taste to be vulgar.2. Prevailing individualisms replace social responsibility Individuality should be respected and personal struggle and personal worth should be stressed in modern society, but it is not at the expense of social responsibility. Internet culture strengthens individuality and personal worth; because a prominent feature of online activity is to separate the individual and society, and eliminate the moral evaluation criterion. It seems to imply the surfers that there is no moral criterion and you can do anything if you want. The yardstick is personal experience and feelings, totally without social value orientation, or taking social responsibility and obligations. Therefore, obloquy, random attacks, lies, and deception is usual. People do what they want. This extreme individualism abets self-interest and greatly digests peoples enterprise and innovation. This is a departure from our traditional sense of social responsibility, like be concern about the country and the people before anything else. 3. Interests above leads to endless cyber crime. Currently, cyber crimes have various forms with all kinds of ways, involving a variety of fields. According to the newspaper, there are network intrusion, network theft, online fraud, copyright piracy, e-business espionage, publishing false information and so on. Cyber crimes are becoming increasingly serious, which is mainly because the lack of moral self-discipline and physical and personal interests are placed in the supreme status. It overturns Chinas traditional thought, “Riches and honors acquired by unrighteousness, are to me as a floating cloud.” 4. Blind Westernization makes people become slaves of Western cultural hegemony Internet is increasingly facing serious pressure from cultural hegemony. Due to the network is originated United States, about 90% of Internet information comes from Western countries English information. Some western developed countries with the superiority of English-based network dump their world views, values, and lifestyles to other countries and regions while spreading information and controlling the direction of public opinions. Most netizens will consciously or unconsciously accept the Western values and ways of life. They also will unconsciously have sense of identity of Western culture. It will inevitably bring about the confusion and crisis of contemporary humans values and spirits. Because the Internet culture is digesting contemporary Chinese moral values with unprecedented penetration, which can cause the loss of traditional culture, peoples mental confusion and perplexity. In more serious cases, it can lead to individualism, materialism flood even increasingly serious cybercrimes. Then what should we do to respond to this challenge and to better safeguard the sanctity of spirit?III Measures taken directed this phenomenon 1. To regulate internet culture in terms of law.Considering the influences of internet culture on peoples traditional moral values, the cultural development and management of the internet should be protected and regulated to keep its healthy development. It can be done from the following aspects:1). To improve the main state management system, and play its leading role in the construction of internet culture. State management system is the physical organization of social activities, which includes government and administrative departments. It plays a leading role in social activities. In the network society, the state administration is still playing the main role of the manager, whose main mandate is a kind of indirect way to adjust based, hierarchy, and subordinate management. The difference is that the innovative digital society also needs a new behavior pattern of national management. The traditional control-based model cannot adapt to the development of the network society. Therefore, we should promote the functions of state management of the main changes, to effectively play its leading roles.2). To regulate the behavior of network users and play their main roles in the network cultural reconstruction. Network users are the largest part of network society. They should take social responsibility like in the real society. Thus right now the point is to effectively standard network users behavior. Legal education can enhance the peoples legal awareness and maintain the judicial authority. One important point is to foster citizens right consciousness. Whether in reality or virtual community, the infringer must bear the corresponding civil liability if they encroach on citizens reputation, privacy, right of name, portrait and right reputations and so on. Internet users who produce, copy, or disseminate information, statements, and influence moral rights of others, should bear tort liability. Our law establishes a registration system of BBS is to clearly identify the information providers, or to pursue legal responsibilities when necessary.3) To promote the formation of the middle stratum and to play its roles in the network cultural construction. The middle layer of society refers to the stratum that is independent from national economic management and market activities. It plays an intermediary role in government intervening market, market influencing the government and the interactions of main parts of market. The middle stratum has the intermediary social, public welfare, civil and p
