They always stand by my side without any word or complaint. Now, I have grown up, and they have grown old. As a graduate, as an adult, Im 24 years old now, I wanna give my parents more. I try giving them a call everyday and tell them something about my life and study. I will send them little gifts. I will pay attention to their needs. Just like most people born in our generation, I have no brothers or sisters, so I know I play an important role in my parents life. When you graduate, would you like to be a teacher?Its a very common phenomenon in China. Nowadays, a lot of people have a strong will to pursue a civil servant but few of them wanna be a teacher. On one hand, the salary is lower than any other civil servant job. The low salary can just meet the standard life needs. On the other hand, the workload is pretty high. Teachers need to spare no effort on students. So they have less time to care their own family. The pressure make them feel tired. For myself, I really hope I could be a teacher one day. Because I like children and I wanna communicate with more young people. Therefore, I will feel myself is full of energy. To tell the truth, I also care the salary level. But I prefer to chase my interest, rather than the money. I believe that I will keep a good balance between my own life and teaching life. Thats amazing life.4. Please list three factors which may influence your choice of an ideal job and explain why the three factors top your list.First of all, interest. Its better that if I find a job, Im interested in it. Otherwise I will easily feel tired for long working hours. You know, interest is the best teacher. I will be more happy and wont feel tired to do something Im interested in. If something I work is dull, I think I wont insist on doing it. Secondly, salary. Low salary will not satisfy ones daily needs. I need enough money to live better. I need to buy a apartment. I need to marry. I need to feed a baby. All things cannot run without money. Thirdly, the prospect of the company. I hope that the company I choose has a better prospect so that I can get a better chance of promotion. Besides, I hope I can learn more technology and something about business from the company so that I can promote my working ability.Unit Five5. What are the necessary qualities for building better human relations? First of all, honesty. The foundation of harmony for human being, I think, is honesty. Young people need to have responsibility no matter in campus or society. We are obliged to be responsible for what weve said or done. A man who have responsibility is really a man and people always like him. Thirdly, humor. Humor is a bridge of the friends communication. So I can know you easily and you know me easily, too. The humor can make a harmonious atmosphere when we talk about something. A humorous guy will find a easy way to communicate with others.6. Do you think too much love from ones parents could probably become a heavy burden on ones mind？Why/Why not?To some extend, too much love from parents do give children some burden. The more they give us, the more pressure we will get. For example, many parents insist on taking their children to the after-class lessons like mathematics, English, art, music and so on. They do this for fear of not catching up with others. These lessons greatly cut down their leisure time. They need to learn different kinds of subjects and they have no time to enjoy their childhood. Also, parents dont let children do the things that they are interested in in order to make them focus on study. It really influence the development of their characteristic. But, anyway, all things they do is because they love us. We should not complain about these and we should think in parents perspective.Unit Seven7. Do you prefer online shopping or in-store shopping? What are the pros and cons of online shopping and in-store shopping?I prefer on-line shopping. There are some pros and cons for both online and in-store shopping.Pros:1. On-line shopping allows you to avoid those holiday mall crowds and checkout lines. Drive to stores and find that parking wastes more expensive fuels.2. It is also available to save more time. 3. Shopping online allows you to compare products and prices between retailers with a couple clicks of the mouse.Cons:1 On the other hand, there are often shipping and handling fees associated with online shopping that dont come with in-store purchases.2 Theres always a delay in receiving your purchases. 3 You cant personally examine the product you are buying like you can in-store. This is especially important with clothing and footwear.8. For a graduate student, what do you think is the main importance of the internet?I think the most importance of the internet is that it can help us improve our ability to learn independently. During the graduate period, we always need to study by ourselves.We need the internet to find out what we want, it is very convenient. For example, when I want to find a document, do not have to go to the library, directly on the internet to find it. Besides,our society is filled with all kinds of information nowadays. The development of internet and computer technology make a far-reaching influence on the information spreading. So we can know the society and employment situation through the internet. And then we know what we need to improve our skills so that we can get a good job when we graduate.Unit Ten9. In your opinion, we work to live or live to work?We know that we have to work almost every day in our life, so we have to think that we work to live or live to work. Why we are alive?
