All kinds of people join these shows. But who can play the piano the best or sing the most beautifully? Thats up to you to decide. When people watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the winner. And the winner always gets a very good prize.However, not everybody enjoys watching these shows. Some think that the lives of the performers are made up. For example, some people who say they are poor farmers are in fact just actors. But if you dont take these shows too seriously, they are fun to watch. And one great thing about them is that they give people a way to make their dreams come true.2c. Find out how many students in your group agree with you.一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明 初中是阅读教学的基础阶段,重在激发学生对阅读的兴趣,帮助学生掌握一般的阅读技巧,初步形成对语篇和意义的认知能力,使用阅读策略并通过语篇获取信息的能力,应用阅读信息解决简单问题的能力。因此,本堂课通过预习检测,读前,读中,读后一系列阅读任务及活动重在训练学生的基本阅读技巧,理解重点词汇意思,并通过文章了解中外达人秀的现象,鼓励学生勇敢展示才华,拥有梦想,坚持梦想。也旨在鼓励学生的全面发展。二、教学背景1. 教学内容分析:八年级上册Unit4 Section B2a-2e主要是对Whos got talent?这篇文章的阅读训练。通过阅读以talent show为话题的2b,对形容词和副词最高级的巩固和运用, 学习重点词汇,并了解中外达人秀的现象。课本共有2a-2e4个活动,本节课通过对课文活动的整合和选择和重新设计,重在对课文的理解和阅读技能的训练,综合素质的培养。从学生的阅读理解能力、学习兴趣、生活经验和学生的认知水平出发,倡导参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力以及全面的素质发展。2. 学生情况分析:本班大部分的学生学习基础很薄弱,两极分化较明显,英语听、说、读、写能力偏差,学生对学习英语缺乏信心。初中学生在英语学习中普遍存在着阅读速度慢,理解能力弱的现象;猜测词义时或脱离语境,或一知半解;逻辑推理不严密,或是想当然,或以事实、举例代替,或就事论事,忽略推理的实质。导致这些问题的主要原因有:教学中过多强调语言知识的传授,忽视了阅读技巧和方法的指导,忽略了阅读材料所表达的信息,从而束缚了学生的英语思维和阅读能力的发展;语言知识的贫乏降低了语言能力的发展不良的阅读习惯和贫乏的语言背景知识阻碍了英语阅读能力的发展和提高。因此,针对这些问题本堂课主要运用任务型教学法,从阅读三步骤读前,读中,读后设计教学任务,由浅入深,层层深入地开展教学活动,教会学生阅读的技巧,如何收集和处理信息,提高阅读能力,通过小组活动让学生调动学生学习的积极性,激发他们的学习热情,培养学生合作探究的能力。三、教学目标(以下各项可整合)1. 语言能力目标:理解核心重点词汇及短语,如:talent, magician, beautifully, winner, prize; havein common, play a role in, be up to sb.等等。能读懂文章。2. 学习能力目标:使学生掌握有效的阅读方法和解题技巧,如:扫读,略读课文获取文章细节,提炼段落中心句概括段落大意。帮助学生形成良好的阅读策略,提高学生的阅读能力。3. 思维品质目标:帮助学生从“学读”到“会读”再到“乐读”的转变。提高英语阅读的能力及从所读文章中了解更多知识包括语言文化知识的能力。4.文化品格目标:通过阅读,了解中外达人秀的现象,鼓励学生学会大胆展示自己的才华,坚持梦想做有梦想的少年。四、教学重、难点1. 教学重点1)重点词汇:talent,common,magician,role,beautifully,winner,prize,everybody,poor,seriously,give2) 重点短语:have in common, all kinds of ,be up to ,play a role ,make up ,for example ,take seriously3) 读懂重点句子,理解课文,完成阅读任务。2. 教学难点:学习扫读,略读等阅读技巧,形成良好的阅读策略,提高学生阅读能力。五、课堂风貌设计(活动名称)1. 兴趣课堂:1). 以形容词副词三级 “chant”开场warm up,充分调动学生的热情和积极性。2).观看Chinas Got Talent 短片作为lead-in,让学生更直观的感受课文目标内容,从而展开话题。自然过渡,帮助达成本堂课的知识,能力及情感目标。3).读后活动:Talent Show, “Whos got talent in our class?” 从世界的达人秀,到我们班上的才艺秀,从学生知识能力目标自然升华到学生的情感态度及文化品格的培养。2. 自主课堂:1).课前homework-checking,让学生课前预习的习惯,培养学生自我学习的能力。同时也让学生能更积极的参与课堂学习,自主学习。这也有益于我校长期以来对导学案预习案的使用。让课堂变得更高效。2).小组合作,讨论完成阅读任务,以小组为单位完成各项活动,课堂小组的评比,使学生真正成为自己学习的主人,由被动学习变为主动参与,从而由厌学到乐学的转变,这样就能达到良好的教学目的.3.“英语做事”课堂:通过读前头脑风暴Word Guessing、读中阅读任务:“find out the answer to the questions, fill in the blanks,finish the chart, TorF”等、读后目标短语及句型在活动的运用,最后summary课堂练习,都很好的让学生在层层深入的语言环境中达成本堂课三维目标。4. 人文素养课堂:通过阅读文章,了解中外“达人秀”现象,培养学生正确的社会情感价值观。真确认识这种流行文化。鼓励学生勇敢的展示自己的才华,拥有并坚持梦想。六、教学过程设计(方法、手段、意图)Step1.
