Its an Aural-oral lesson.2.Teaching goals1) Knowledge goalsA. To master the new words and phrases.e.g. shake, blender, peel, cut up, pour into, put in B. To master how to describe the process of making banana milk shake.e.g. First, peel the bananas. Next, cut up the bananas.2) Ability goalsEnable the students to listen to how to make a banana milk shake.To develop the students abilities of listening and speaking.3) Emotion goalsFind the happiness of making food. Help parents do some housework at home. And then enjoy the life.3. Analysis of the studentsThey are in Grade 8. Most of them are active and curious. But some students have gotten bored in English. So we need some games to activate them. Let them take part in the class.4. Teaching designUse games to attract the students.Make the students communicate to others from beginning to end.Use competition to activate them.5. Teaching aidsComputer, the real food and some tools of making the banana milk shake.6. And learn to use them correctly.The purpose of the design: It can help students more easily and quickly understand the meaning of these target words.Step 3 Practice the new words.(6)The purposes of the games 1. To be teachers can let the students take part in the class totally and learn the team spirit.2. Quick answer is to attract their interest and provoke their spirit of competition.Step 4 Finish 1a. (3) First, finish it by themselves. Then check the answers in their group. Finally, give the answers.Step5 Listening. (5) Finish 1b by listening once. Then check their answers in their group. Finally, give the answers and let the students listen again and repeat the tapescripts. Pay attention to the process of making a banana milk shake.The purpose: Improve the students abilities of listening. Step 6 Present new drills. (2)First,peel the bananas.Next,cut up the bananas. Then describe their process of making it.After the game, the group which got the most smile faces will be the winner, The students in the group will get my banana milk shake.The purpose of this design To consolidate students knowledge by freely talking and use them into daily life. Step 9 Summary (2) First, peel the bananas. Next, cut up the bananas. Next, put the bananas and ice cream in the blender. Next, pour the milk into the blender. Then, turn on the blender.
