Section A 1 (1a-1c)讷河市讷南镇中心学校 王金荣一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: rainy, windy, cloudy, sunny, snowy, weather, hot, warm, cool, cold.能掌握以下句型:Hows the weather in Beijing? /Whats the weather like in Beijing?Its sunny./The weather is sunny.2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标:教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2) Hows the weather? Its raining/ windy. 3) What are you doing? Im playing basketball. 2. 教学难点:运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。三、教学过程. Warming up (设境导学)1.Enjoy an English songSinging in the rain.2. Show the language goals and heck the homework. Presentation (交流学习)1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Summarize the rules of the words. (名词末尾加y变成形容词。)3. Show some signs of the weather , let Ss know the meanings.4. Task1. Pairwork. Look at the picture and ask and answer about the weather in pairs. Then play a game . Ask and answer as quickly as possible. . Consolidation(梳理巩固)1. Show the flash about a story . The farmer and the weather. Ask Ss to say something about the weather and the feelings of people.2. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss listen to the sound and guess how the weather in?3. Task2. Talk about todays weather in different cities in China.T:The weather in different places is different. Here is the telephone number, Im the operator, you can call me to ask the weather in different cities in China.4. Listening.Finish 1a and 1b.1) Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 2) Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3) Check the answers and practice in pairs.Expanding and improving.(拓展提高)1. Task 3.Groupwork. Weather Report. Report the weather like a real weather reporter.Tell the Ss: Each group chooses one map. Then discuss in groups to report the weather today. You may begin like this: Good morning, everyone. Here is the CCTV weather forecast. Today is The weather in isItsintoday. Thanks for listening.2. Task 4 Different weather different activities.(谈论不同天气下人们的活动。)Show some famous people in different cities , imagine you are one of them, tell us who you are, where you are, how the weather is and what you are doing. Summary.(总结归纳) 回望目标,小组合作总结。 What have you learned in this class?. Homework. Watch the weather report on CCTV at 7:30p.m. Then write a weather report on your composition book. Teacher summarizes. Different weather makes our world beautiful. But there is terrible weather, such as storm, sand storm, fog and haze and so on.
