课题名称： Book 15 Unit 4 Lesson 16 教师姓名：陈北平 学校：北京市第十二中学科丰校区 指导思想与理论依据英语课程标准提出教学设计要符合学生的生理和心理特点，遵循语言学习的规律，力求满足不同类型和不同层次学生的需求，培养学生学习英语的兴趣。我按照“语言接触理解体验-语言聚焦-自主运用”的教学思路，对本节课进行了设计，确立了四个教学环节：情景导入语言输入语言聚焦语言运用。教学背景分析教学内容：本课位于北师大版教材第15册第四单元的第四课。本单元内容主要围绕inventions and inventors话题展开，13课介绍日用电器、常用工具的使用方法；14课介绍了中国古代的重大发明；15课预测未来的汽车发展方向及谈论一些日用常识；本课借助介绍中外著名发明家的话题，学生通过阅读语言材料，获取有关中外发明家的信息，同时强化学习用情态动词表达可能与不可能，确定与不确定的功能意念项目。学生情况：学生在本册第二单元的第八课已经借助对未来进行预测的话题学习了情态动词表达可能与不可能，确定与不确定的功能意念项目，为本课的学习打下了良好的基础。部分学生已经了解了本节课的语言材料所涉及到的有关中外著名发明家的知识，因此他们通过阅读，提取并理解相关信息的活动中没有太大的障碍。教学目标知识与技能：通过本课的学习，学生能通过回答问题填写表格的方式理解文章大意，获取有关中外著名发明家的信息；2通过看图猜词，TPR，补全单词等各种练习巩固重点词汇并能运用到介绍发明家的课堂知识竞赛中；重点词汇包括：本课生词：printing house, observe, thunder, lightning, lightning rod, bulb, hybrid rice, flying machine, birth以前学过但会干扰到阅读理解需要复现的词汇：earn,cost, the nature of the electricity, farming technology, wonder3 通过体验，观察，归纳总结出情态动词must,might表达可能与不可能，确定与不确定的功能并能初步运用到本课知识竞赛的抢答中；4通过小组合作的形式共同完成任务，参与竞赛，在恰当的情境中巩固运用本课所学进行自我表达；能准确描述出本课所学发明家的国籍，代表发明等信息，并能尝试介绍一至两个课外的著名发明家的信息。 情感与态度：培养学生热爱科学的情感，学习发明家身上那种不畏困难，开动脑筋发明创造的精神。教学重点和难点教学重点：1学生能够通过阅读文本信息回答问题填写表格的方式获取有关中外著名发明家的信息；2学生能够通过图片猜词，TPR，补全单词等各种活动巩固重点词汇。教学难点：学生能够在恰当的情境中巩固运用本课所学进行自我表达。教学资源、教学手段和教学方法教学资源：电脑，教材，黑板，粉笔，灯泡，U盘，教鞭教学过程教学环节教与学的过程设计意图Warm up3 min教师出示一个灯泡并提问：Guess: whats in the cup?Ss: A light bulb.Who invented a bulb?So we can see Edison was a famous inventor.
