Teach Activity 1a. Give Ss several minutes to do this free talk.Call attention to the tense. Then, invite some volunteers to describe their favorite singers or musicians.2. Teach Activities 1b,1c. Call students attention to the picture and ask Ss what they can see in it and what the people are doing. Then play the tape twice. The first time,students listen and distinguish Alexs and Daves opinions about the band. The second time,students take some notes to complete the chart. Finally,check the answers together.Step 3 Practice Teach Activity 1d. First,lead Ss to read the instruction to know what to do and how to do it.
