人教版八年级上册英语unit5说课稿第一课时 Unit5 Do you want to watch a game show ? 1a-1c Good morning, judges, I am glad to stand here to share my teaching ideas with you. Im going to talk about the first period of Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show ? , which is taken from Section a of Book 3. My presentation consists of five parts: analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students, teaching methods, teaching procedures and teaching reflections. Part 1. Analysis of the teaching material 1 .Status And Function This unit is aiming at talking about different kinds of TV shows.The first period serves as an introduction and a lead-in part. And some funny pictures are used to attract students attention. 2. Teaching Aims and Demands (1)Knowledge Objects In this lesson, Ss should master the new words: sitcom, soap opera ,news ,mind ,stand. At the same time, they should know how to use this sentence “What do you think of ?” and know how to answer it in different ways . (2). Ability Objects In this lesson, Ill mainly train the Ss listening and speaking abilities and develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful sentences. (3). Moral Objects From this lesson, the Ss should learn how to work with others and help each other, how to express their own ideas during the communication. 3. Teaching Key Points According to the teaching aims, I think the focus of this lesson is the new expressions and help the Ss to communicate with each other.4. Teaching difficulties The difficulty is to help the Ss make conversations freely using the target language. Part Two Analysis of studentsThe Ss have learned English for several years, they can express their thought and communicate with each other in English well. And all the Ss will be interested in the topic about different TV shows, which are common to see in their daily life. Its helpful for our study of this lesson.Part Three Teaching and learning methods In this lesson, Ill mainly use the “task-based” teaching method, and it will be used in the whole lesson. I think its helpful to develop the Ss thought. Ill also use “situation communicating” method. It can provide enough listening and speaking situations for Ss. I think good teaching methods are the keys to success. In order to guide the Ss better, develop the Ss abilities, in this lesson, the Ss will learn how to be a good language learner , and how to communicate with others. It will be very helpful for their learning in the future. Part Four Teaching Procedures Step 1:warm up and Leading in First of all, I played seven kinds of TV shows, which are related to this part to attract the students attention, and make them know what we will learn today.Purpose of my designing: I think it is very important to arouse students interest at the beginning. And It will keep them active in the whole class. Step 2 Presentation In this part , I firstly presented the new words and sentences by asking and answering: What kinds of TV shows did you see just now ?. and the next step is to make students remember them by some tasks , such as reading after me ,and individual memorizing. Purpose of my designing: I think it is much easier for the Ss to remember if I present the key words and structures by asking and answering, and they can master them quickly through different tasks. And This part is very important for the following listening practice . Step 3 listening practiceListen to the tape for the first time and finish the task in 1b.Next, read after the tape for the second time. Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practice their listening and spoken ability. Step 4 practice the conversation.Ask the students to make their own conversations.Purpose of my designing: It gives Ss practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversations. . Step5. Summary Purpose of my designing: It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises in class to consolidate the knowledge they learned and it is a good preparation for the next period. Step6.Homework Purpose of my designing: It is necessary to review what we have learned. Part 5.Teaching reflection There are only five new words in this lesson:sitcom,soap opera ,news ,mind ,stand., During my preparation, I prepared some videos to present the new words. I found that they were quite attractive when students saw them during the teaching. In terms of my organization of the class, there were seven steps in detail. They were leading in, presentation, practice, listening, pair work and summary. Leading in occupied about 10 minutes; presentation occupied 5 minutes; practice and pairwork accounted for half of the class; listening lasted about 10 minutes. I was quite satisfie
