Unit 8, Section A How do you make a banana milk shake?Period One ( 1a- 1c 3b)一、 教材分析本课选自人教版初中英语教材Go For It八年级上册Unit8, Section A。本单元的核心话题是Cooking (烹饪),通过学习,使学生学会用表示先后次序的副词表达食品制作的操作步骤;本节课以制作奶昔为楔子,引出食品制作即making food的话题,让学生在谈论核心话题的过程中学习掌握表达制作步骤所需的副词。课文提供的语言材料与学生的实际生活密切相关,充分体现了中学英语教学源于学生生活经验并紧密联系学生生活实际的理念,具有很强的时代感。二、 学生分析通过一年多的英语学习与实践,八年纪的学生已经掌握了一定的语言知识,具备了初步的听、说、读、写能力;他们对食品制作的话题有着丰富的经验和浓厚的兴趣,并乐于表现自己。但由于学生存在个体差异,学习基础和能力参差不齐,这就需要教师在教学过程中精心组织、创设情境,借助各个任务型活动的有效开展,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生积极主动地参与到听、说、演、游戏等大量活动中来,发展学生的综合表达能力。三、 教学目标a) 掌握并能熟练运用与“making food”话题有关的短语和句型,学会描述食物的制作过程;b) 了解食品的制作过程,学会自己尝试制作以及与他人分享劳动成果;c) 树立用英语积极与人交流的信心和态度,培养学生主动表达自我的情感;d) 建立“自主、合作、探究学习”的概念和意识,培养学生自主学习英语的能力,为学生“可持续学习”奠定基础;四、 教学策略a) 教学方法:布置学生预习新课程的有关知识,了解爆米花和奶昔的制作材料与做法;通过小组合作的形式来完成教学内容,让学生在生动的任务活动中学习运用英语语言、并与他人团结协作,共同体验英语学习的成功和乐趣;b) 教学手段:采用任务型教学和小组合作学习的形式,培养学生的听、读、说能力;使用多媒体课件,增强学习的直观性和生动性,吸引学生的注意力,激发学生的学习兴趣和热情;运用实物创设情境,增强使用语言的真实性和趣味性,培养学生初步运用语言的能力;五、 教学过程(一)情境创设 激趣导入TimeProcessPurpose5 minsStep1 Lead-in1 Present a video about people of all ages eating popcorn, teach the new word popcorn like this:What are the people in the video eating?Theyre eating popcorn.Do you like popcorn? First, add some oil.What do we do next? Next, put the corn in the pot.What do we do then? Then, cover the pot.What do we do after that?
