Greetings .2. Revision and lead inT: Do you like basketball/ volleyball/.? Do you want to join a basketball/ volleyball/.club?Step 2: Presentation1. Ask the students to look at the pictures of Page 1.T: There are some clubs in the pictures of Page 1. They are art club, English club, chess club, swimming club and music club. What club do you want to join? (Help the students to answer I want to join the art club and so on. )Ask the students to practice it.Then introduces can and cant. T: Can you play basketball? (Say to the students who say he/she wants to join the basketball club and help the students say Yes, I can. No, I cant. Then repeat with other actions.)2.Present the new words:Ask students to look at the picture on the screen. T: Can you swim?Repeat the word “swim” several times. Ask the students to read after the teacher. (Then look at other pictures and teach other new words and phrases in the same way, such as dance, play chess, draw, speak English and play the guitar)Step 3. A game Write the words and phrases on pieces of paper. Ask two students come to the front and choose one of the paper. One do the action. The other student guesses what he or she can do. Then exchange.Step 4. Work on 1a:Look at the pictures on Page 1. Points to the clubs.T: What clubs can you see?S: I can see T: What can we do in different clubs ? For example, This is a music club. we can sing, so we can write “e” beside sing.Check the answers Step 5. Work on 1b T: Lets look at 1b, listen and fill in the blanks.(Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. Ask students to number the conversations and then check the answers.)Step 6. Pair work (1c)Ask the Students to practice the conversations in 1b with a partner. Then make their own conversations. Step 7. Work on 2a.T: Now, look at the pictures on P2, listen to the conversations. Just listen. Work on 2b.1.Read the sentences, who does each sentence talk about?
