Unit 3 How do you get to school?一、教学设计思路分析1. 巩固学习主要交通方式的表达并学会简单描述路程及时间 2. 设计并描述理想的旅游路线;了解贫困山区孩子们的上学交通方式,珍惜现在,感恩师长;(一) 教材内容分析 本单元交通方式为谈论话题,使用一般现在时(第三人称仍是重点),通过对目标语言How do you get to .? I take a bus to/ I get to school by . ; How long does it take to get to school? How far is it from your home to school?在对话中的问答,表达交通方式,谈论距离和时间,引导学生选择健康绿色出行。而在Section B 部分,侧重多种出行方式在语段中准确表达及灵活运用,了解地域文化所导致的出行方式的差异。借此可结合实际生活,引导学生设计合理的出行或出游路线。Section A (二)教学目标三维目标【知识目标】1.会读、能写下列词汇:take a train/ subway/bus, ride a bike, drive a car, walk to by bus, onthebus/train/plane/ship/ bike in a car on foot sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred(hundreds of) minute, kilometer(美式),短语:get to(arrive in/arrive at/ reach). every day2.学会运用how, how long 和how far引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。Section A How do you get to school? I ride my bike. How far is it from your home to school ? Its about 15 minutes walk . How long does it take to get to school? It takes about 15 minutes.【能力目标】能够用how, how long和how far引导的特殊疑问句询问并准确表达交通方式、表路程及用时;用所学的目标语言合理安排出行方式。 【情感目标】本单元围绕交通方式展开,通过对话、采访、调查等方式了解学生实际上学方式,引导独立、合理、健康的上学方式。(三)教学重难点1教学重点:1) 掌握交通方式的2种表达方式: take/by,in,on2) 准确问答:How, how far, how long 2教学难点:How long/often/far/soon take/by同义替换 六、教学过程:Project:Make up a dialogue to recommend Daniel your favorite tour route with 3 how questions. I Lead-in: Make a survey in your group How do you get to school ? (板书记录并总结班级主要到校方式). Presentation: take/by1. 1a: look and say or chain work. Presentation: how far /how long1. 以老师自身为例, 结合图片,引出how far is it from my home to school?的问答及时间表达: it takes me .to get to school by/on. ,可以采用chain work 的方式同时练习问答句。 2. 仍以老师自身为例, 结合图片,展示老师步行、自行车、公交车或打车/开车离开家及到校时刻表引出how long does it take Kate to get to school? 经过对比,发现更合理的是自行车。IV. Practice: 1. . Practice: Interview and report: 2d/3b2. Listening 1: 2b listen and fill in the chart, check in pairs;Listening 2: 2e listen and answer and report/ listen and tell-role-play (The bus ride takes about 20mins) . Group work Make a dialogue to recommend your favorite tour route in your group, using 3 how questions. A: Spring is really a good time to go on a trip. The Garden in the Air is a good place to visit. B: Thats right. How can you get there ?A: B: B:Lets talk with Daniel about the route. He must be very excited! Section B (二)教学目标三维目标【知识目标】1.会读、能写下列词汇:stop &station, cross & across/through, village, villager, ,bridge, afraid, leave, likedream, come true/ think of/ between .and.2.学会运用多种交通方式描述相对复杂路线,并使用连接词:First, thenafter thatnext3. 学会辨识宾语从句,从句为问句时,使用正确的陈述语序:(难点)Mary wants to know where Bob lives. 4.学会运句型表达观点:It is their dream to have a bridge. Its easy to get to school.【能力目标】进一步熟练运用目标语言,能够在对话中运用how, how long, how far描述路线;通过阅读,了解不同地域造成的不同 交通方式,锻炼细节阅读; 【情感目标】同时通过设问思考,发散思维,引导学生感恩当下,享受生活,快乐学习的生活态度。II、教学过程:Project: Read a passage about how the kids in one small village in China go to school. and share your ideas. I. Lead in & Word presentation :1. A guessing game about “train/railway station” ;2. Words with pictures : bus stop/station/ subway station/ airport II: Listening : 1c: listen, answer, explain: 1d:retell/ talk and report( Practice: Which city or country do want to travel?How can you go there? )III: Reading: 1.以图片和设问的形式扫清听读词汇障碍:village, villager, cross, bridge, by boat (Listen and fill in: 2c)1.
