新目标英语八年级上册第一单元教学设计Unit 1 Where did you go vocation? Section B (2a-3c)八年级 刘妙莲 汫洲第二中学教材分析:此部分内容是八年级英语上册第一单元Section(2a-3c).此部分的教学重点为2b、3c 两部分。2d 的内容是关于Jane 与他家人去马来西亚度假的两篇日记。通过学习让学生了解写英语日记的格式,如日期的表达法。掌握重要语法用过去去发生的事情。我通过(when, who ,where ,what)等问句为学生理清了课文内容的思路,为下文写作奠定了基础。2c,2d ,2e 是对2b 的理解,其中2d将两则日记改成对话的方式,此部分可以进行对话练习。3a 通过语言填空训练语言表达。3b 用问答的方式理清学生思路为3c写作打下基础。3c 进行练笔写作。学情分析:学生的基础知识较薄弱,学生惰性较大,但学生的好奇心较强,通过多媒体课件展示各种有关旅游图片来调动学生的兴趣,从而展开学习。1.知识目标(1)用过去时谈论过去所发生的事情。(2)掌握重要单词:decide, paragliding, feel like , wonder, because of, below,try,enough.( 3 )掌握语言目标: I felt really tired. I went to buy something special. How did you feel about the trip?2.能力目标(1)用过去时谈论过去发生的事情(2)学会写英语日记3.情感目标与朋友一起分享旅行的经历和心情。教学重点:用过去时态写旅游日记教学难点:如何写英语日记教学方法:情景教学 、任务型教学、交际法教学教学工具:录音机,PPT教学过程:步骤一、 讨论让学生讨论2a中的两个问题。在学生的讨论中教师引导学生回答并呈现出地方图片和活动图片,从中学习新单词paragliding, Malaysian PPT呈现的内容:1.What do people usually do on vacation?They usually _2. What activities do you find enjoyable?Going fishing. _步骤二、导入呈现Malaysia, Georgetown, Weld Quay, Penang Hill 的图片引起学生对下文的学习兴趣。步骤三、进入2a的学习 让学生带着一下问题快速阅读一遍并把不会读的单词画出出来。然后听录音一遍回答问题。1. T: Now well read Janes diary entries about her vacation and answer the questions. Did Jane have a good time on Monday? What about on Tuesday? 2. Ss read the diary quickly and find the answers to the questions. 3. Check the answers with the Ss.PPT呈现的内容:1. Did Jane have a good time on Monday? _2. I feel like I was a bird. feel like+从句 意为“觉得好像是” e.g. I feel like Im walking through the history. 我感觉好像是倘佯在历史的长河中。拓展feel like的其他用法: feel like + 名词或代词意为“觉得好像” e.g. It feels like rain soon. 感觉天好像很快就要下雨了。 feel like + 动名词 意为“想做” e.g. I dont feel like walking today. 今天我不太想去散步。2. And because of the bad weather, we couldnt see anything below. because of意为“因为”,后跟名词。 e.g. They didnt go fishing because of the bad weather. 因为天气不好所以他们没有去钓鱼。辨析 because 与 because of 的区别: because + 句子 意为“因为”e.g. 他因为生病而没有上学。 He didnt go to school because he was ill. He didnt go to school because of his illness. below 意为“在下面,到下面”e.g. Please do not writebelowthis line. 请不要写到这条线下面。辨析 below与under的区别: below指某物处于较低的地方,但不一定是正下方; under指处于某物的正下方。e.g. 我们在月下。 We are below the moon. 那名男孩子站在树下。The boy stood under the tree.3. My father didnt bring enough money. enough作形容词,意为“充足的,足够的,充分的” e.g. You have enough time to get there on time. 你有足够的时间按时到达那里。4. so we decided to go to the beach near our hotel.decide v. 决定;选定 e.g. He decided to get married. 他决定结婚。5. My sister and I tried paragliding. try v.&n. 尝试;设法;努力 e.g. This idea seems good but you need to try it out. 这个想法似乎不错,但是需要试验一下。 After a few tries they decided to give up. 试了几次后,他们决定放弃。练习巩固所学重要词组PPT呈现的练习题:选词填空。1. I feel like _ (going/go) to Hong Kong for vacation next summer vacation. 2. Hes not going to buy that car _ (because /because of) its too expensive. 3. The train was late _ (because/ because of) the heavy frog (雾).4. Her coat reaches _ (below/ under) her knee. 5. The boy is _ (enough old/ old enough) to get dressed himself.步骤四、让学生完成2c,2d. 完成2d后让学生进行对话练习。1. Tell Ss they should read the conversation about Janes trip to Penang again and use the information in the diary entries. 2. Ss read the conversation about Janes trip to Penang first then try to fill in the blanks. 3. 方法指导:首先,应读通读整个对话一遍,理解对话的大意;然后,认真阅读有空格的上下句的内容,结合日记的内容,确定空格处的内容。 最后,再通读一遍对话,综合日记的内容看每个空格处是否贴切。3. Ss read carefully and try to write down the words in the blanks. 4. Check the answers with the class.步骤五、让学生完成2e 并让学生注意所用时态,过去时和写日记的格式。1. 告诉学生们这篇日记是Jane在七月十八日又一次参观了Penang Hill 后,所写的。读日记,并用括号中单词的正确形式填空。 2. 方法指导:首先,再次明确这是一篇日记,因此应用一般过去时态;然后,通读一遍日记的内容,了解大体内容;最后,综合每句的内容,用括号中动词的正确的形式填空。3. Ss read the diary and try to fill in the blanks.4. Check the answers. (Look at the big screen)5. 对动词一般过去时的规则形式与不规则形式,再复习一遍步骤六、WritingWork on 3a1. Show some pictures of the some places of interest. Tell Ss the name of them. e.g. the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, a Beijing hutong2. Let Ss discuss what they can do, eat, buy in those places.3.Tell Ss they went to one of these places of interest last summer vacation. With the help of the words in the box, try to fill in the blanks of the diary. 4. Let some Ss read the words in the box.5. Ss read the diary and try to fill in the blanks with the words in the box.阅读指导: 首先,应阅读日记一遍,了解日记的大意。然后,细读每一句,根据上下文文意来确定每个空格处应填的词汇。比如:读第一行可知此处是填空记日记时的时间,空格后面有日期,因此空格处应填月份August。读第二句话,可知空格处应填写天气的词汇,故应选hot and sunny。其他类似。6.Check the answerswork on 3b1. Let some Ss read the questions aloud to the Ss. Make sure they know the meaning of the questions. 2. Let Ss work in pairs to ask and answer the questions. Write their answers on a piece of paper. 3. Get some pairs read out their answers.4. Check the verbs forms. Work on 3c:1. Tell Ss to write a travel diary like Janes on Page 5.
