Section B Activity 2b Crossing the River to School年 级:初一年级下学期(七年级下册)教材版本:人教版新目标!Go For It!授课教师:段淞成工作单位:云南师范大学实验中学课标分析:本单元讨论话题为“日常出行方式”,结合单元话题目标,本节阅读课节选新闻 稿“Crossing the River to School”从内容上告知学生在中国偏远地区,学生上学 的方式是艰险的。带领学生读懂文章内容之余,教师再引导学生思考“村民们拥 有一座桥的梦想能不能实现?该怎样实现?我们能为这些村民做些什么?”通过 这些问题的解决,唤起孩子关注社会现象,积极面对困难,对有困难的同学给与 能帮助的意识!教学设计:本节课采用了“翻转课堂”的教学模式,教师于前一天布置孩子相关的任务,在 课上分组讨论,合作学习,再派选代表引导得出结论以及探讨分析新发现问题!评测练习:无特意设计书面练习!效果分析:本节课旨在锻炼学生的探究合作学习能力。在课堂流畅程度上来说没有老师主导 的课堂那么顺畅,但学生的自主能力得到锻炼,且课堂预设目标的到解决。所以 总体来说,这是一节很成功的学生自主学习的课型。课后反思:作为代表引导发言的同学略显紧张,应该给与给多的鼓励及锻炼机会,让他们在 课堂上能更加自信的用英语表达自己的想法;对于课外拓展的问题,发言同学面 不广,教师应再给与更多的提示以及思考时间。课 件:无教案:Part one: General Understanding of the passageGeneral idea of this passage: We have already read this passage, now Whod like to tell us the main idea of this passage? Main idea: this passage tells us that in one small village in China, students go on a ropeway to school every day. Its difficult for them to get to school, but they love school. And they dream to have a bridge one day.OK, thank you very much. Next, we have some questions to help us understand the content(内容) of this passage. Lets see the questions and find the answers to them.1 How do the students in the village go to school? They go on a ropeway to school to school on school days.2 Why do they go to school like this? a. There is a big river between their school and the village. b. There is no bridge. c. The river runs too quickly for boats. (It means they cant cross the river by boat.)3 Does the boy like his school? Why? Yes, the boy Liangliang likes his school very much. Because he loves to play with his classmates. He also loves his teacher. Because the teacher is like a father to him. 4 What is the villagers dream? The villagers dream is to have a bridge.5 Can their dream come true? Yes, I think their dream can come true. (Why do you think so?) Because I think our country is stronger and stronger, the government will try everything to help people who need help. So I think they can have a bridge one day. (另一个同学回答) I also think their dream can come true. Because more people who care about social affairs, like Ma Yun and some movie stars, they often do many things to help people, so with the help of these people, I think the villagers can have a bridge.(另一个同学回答) I also think their dream can come true. We can also do something we can to help them. For example, we can give away some money to help them.Very good, and thank you for your answers. Now lets read the passage loudly together. (第一遍带领大家齐读). Next, we have three minutes to read the passage quietly by yourselves and try to find the key words. 三分钟后,让同学起来说他们找的第一个关键词。OK, it s time. Whod like to tell us the first key word you find.The first key word is difficult. I think is first key word is difficult. Because the students in the small village have to go on a ropeway to cross the river to school every school day. Yes, I agree with you. They have a more difficult way to get to school. First, we see the picture on the textbook. In this picture, we can see two students are hanging over the river, it seems that they dont have too much protection. And from the textbook we know the river runs too quickly, if they fall from the ropeway, I think they will die. So its not only difficult but kind of dangerous. So I do agree that the first key word is difficult.We go on. How about the second key word? (点名叫举手的同学回答)答案:I think the second key word is love. We can find such sentences in the passage. Paragraph 2, line 2. I love to play with my classmates. And I love my teacher. Hes like a father to me. From these sentences, we know he loves his classmates and his teacher, so I think the key word is love.(叫另一个同学)I also think the key word is love. From the first key word we know its difficult or dangerous to go to school every day. But they are not afraid, they still keep on going to school, so I think they now just love his classmates and teachers. But they love study, I think they want to study hard to make their life better. Do you have the third key word? (叫举手同学回答), Yes, I think the third key word is dream. Its difficult for students to go to school, and its also difficult for villagers to go out of the village. So they dream to have a bridge. And the third key word is dream.Now we have known the main idea and some details of this passage. Next, we try to think about something out of this passage. First I have a question for you. Is the village the only place where there is no bridge? In China, there are still many places in which students have many problems going to school (展示图片,让大家明白很多孩子上学困难的事实)问大家:看了这些照片,你有什么感想?感想一:I think we should do something we can to help these students. We can give away some books, pencils, schoolbags to help them.感想二:For us , its easy to get to school, and we have better school, better classrooms, better teachers, our parents can give us more.
