Warming-up and Lead in 1. Greet the Ss as usual and check the homework. 2. Look at the pictures and talk about the weather in different places. Step . Presentation (Show some news words and expressions) Let Ss look at the new words and read after me. Read each three times. Step . Practice 1. Read the conversation in 2d and answer the following questions. Role-play the converdation. 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation and answer the questions: Hows the weather? Whats Steve doing? Whats Ricks brother doing? What does Steve want Rick to do? Ss read the conversations and answer the questions. Then check the answers together. 2. Let Ss role-play the conversation in pairs. Step IV. Grammar Focus 1.
