教 学 设 计教材:新目标英语 (Go for it!)课题:Unit8 Is there a post office near here?课型:英语综合技能训练课年级:七年级学校:珠海市文园中学教师:沈振荣Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?课型:阅读课执教者:沈振荣 执教班级:初一(4)班 学校:珠海市文园中学I. 学情分析1. 知识基础:本课的授课对象是七年级的学生。经过一个学期的学习,对动词的ing搭配形式已经一定的接触,但有关问路的句型和方位介词还是第一次出现,对某些任务的完成还有一定的难度。2. 思维能力:大部分学生具有较强的模仿能力、独立思考的能力及丰富的想象力和创造力,思维敏捷。3. 认知心理:大多数学生有较强的空间意识,有较强的求知欲和表现欲,性格开朗、大方活泼。因此,在课堂教学中,应多为学生提供表达自己观点的机会,充分发挥学生的自主意识。II. 教材分析本单元的教学目标是方位介词以及问路的方式,为初中阶段首次出现此类话题。教材围绕方位介词和问路设计了一系列的听说读写的任务,全方位培养学生的英语能力。III. 教学目标 (Teaching Aims)1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:spend, spend time, climb, road, often, air, sunshine, free, enjoy, enjoy reading, easily, money2) 能掌握以下句型: I like to spend time there on weekends. I love to watch the monkeys climbing around. It is very quiet and I enjoy reading there. You can get to the library easily. The best things do not need money. 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 通过运用简单的问路和引路的交际用语,学会相互合作,培养乐于助人的精神。 通过三个同学对自己住处的描述,培养学生爱自己家乡爱祖国的情感。IV. 教学重点和难点(Teaching Stress and Difficulties)1. 教学重点:1) Words and expressions.2) Important sentences in 2b.2. 教学难点表示方位介词的理解与正确运用及指路的表达方式。V. Teaching Methods(教学方法)本课采用任务型教学法(Task-based Teaching),该教学法的核心在于使学生通过用语言完成任务的方式学习语言;任务型教学应该是一种开放的、弹性的、动态的学习模式,其最终目标在于吸引和组织学生积极参与教学活动,让他们通过主动思考、认真讨论、合作交流等方式学习和使用英语,完成任务。1. 教法通过创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力。2. 学法1)通过自主学习,培养学生独立思考的能力;2)通过合作学习,培养学生团体协作意识。VI. Teaching Steps(教学步骤)步骤目的(设计意图)教师活动/教法学生活动/学法条件/手段Step 1. Sing a song迅速让学生坐好,准备上课;放松紧张的气氛;学习有关方位介词的运用。Sing a song “in on under” together with the Ss. And ask: Do you like this song? Whats the name of this song? What do you call “in on under” in Chinese? Sing a song together. Pay attention to the directional prepositions in the song.唱歌、提问。Step 2.Revision 复习sectionA所学的地点名词,方位介词以及重点句型。1. what can you see in the neighborhood?2. Is there a bank in the neighborhood?Yes, there is. No, there isnt3. where is the bank? Its on /behind / in front of/ next to/ between and/across from1. I can see a hotel/ bank/ post officein the neighborhood.2. Yes, there is. No there isnt. 3. Its on /behind / in front of/ next to/ between and/across from老师提问,学生回答Step 3.New directional prepositions 学习新的方位介词和短语:go alongturn leftturn rightcrossing 0n your left0n your right1. show the Ss some pictures and ask them what they mean. 2. tell them the Chinese meaning of these phrases.Try to learn new phrases about directions.老师展示和提问,学生回答。Step 4.Listening听课本46页1c的录音,并填空。此部分是对上一节课以及这一节课刚学的方位介词的巩固性练习。同时通过此填空练习,可以引出问路和指路必须用到的短语和句型,为下一步教学活动奠定基础。Play the recording and let Ss fill in the blanks.Check the answers by asking different Ss.Listen to the recording and fill in the blanks with suitable nouns and prepositions. 通过多媒体教学平台播放录音。学生填空。Step 5.Ask for and give directions. 朗读1c的听力材料,然后讲解如何使用听力材料中的句型进行问路和指路。1. ask the Ss to read the dialogue together, pay attention to the underlined sentences.2. teach them the English expressions of “第一/二/三个路口(往左/右拐)3. practice the way of asking for and giving directions: A: Excuse me. Is there a _ around here?B: Yes, there is. Just go along _Street and turn _ when you see the _. Go along _Street and its on the _. Its _. A: Thank you very much. B: You are welcome.4. pair-work Your friend is at Singapore Garden,tell him/her how to get to the hospital and Wenyuan middle school by using the above dialogue pattern.1. practice the dialogue pattern of asking for and giving directions by following the teachers instructions.2. practice the dialogue pattern with their partners and make a presentation.展示地图,创设情境,让学生操练句型。Step 6.Play a game!通过有关指路内容的游戏设置,锻炼学生的听力,并在听力中重现地点名词/方位介词和相关的问路句型。同时活跃课堂气氛,增强小组的竞争意识。There is a map and 5 recordings(录音). Each recording will tell you how to get somewhere. Choose a recording you want and try to find out where you are. You will get different points for different recordings, and different points will be taken out from your group if you are wrong!
