Grade 7 Dafasi Junior High School Li QinHello everyone:My name is Li Qin .Im from Dafasi Junior High School Nice to meet you here ,Im happy to share my lesson with you. .I m expecting your advice. Here, my speech contains 7 parts.I. The analysis of teaching material:My speech is Section A(1a-1c), Unit 5. Do you have a soccer ball? This is an important lesson in Book One. And it is the first lesson of this unit, it talks about recognizing objects (mainly about balls) and the simple question. .The students have already known to answer it “Yes” or “No” in Unit 2, but in this unit, its different. We know, simple question is a kind of important structure. If the students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students to learn the special question. And its related to our daily life closely, so its very useful.II. Analysis of learningIn this unit,students will talk about their hobbies by using what they have learnt .They will learn the structures of the Simple Present Tense and learn how to use them. Its useful for students to learn English in the future. III Teaching aimsIn this unit, students will learn some new words about balls and theyll learn an important structure: Do you have ? Yes, I do. No, I dont1. Knowledge aims(1)To study the words about balls by showing the pictures. tennis, racket, bat, volleyball, basketball, ping pong (2)To make the students know how to ask and how to answer the structures:Do you have a TV? Yes, I do. No, I dont.2. Ability aims (1) To develop the students ability of listening , speaking, reading and writing. (2) To train the students ability of communication.3. Moral aims To make the students be interested in good cooperation and competition. To make the students love sports, love life.IV. Teaching key points and difficult points: Do youthey have ? Yes, I do. No, I dont.V.Teaching and learning methodsTeaching methods:Task-based language teachingCommunicative teachingVII. Teaching steps design.Step1. Lead in and warm up Lets sing a song. (catch studentsattention about the topic and introduce the new vocabulary.)Step2: Presentation.I Present the words:(1). Show the ppt.(a picture of Yao Ming and basketball )and ask: Who is he? (Do you know?) He is Yao Ming . (2). Teach other new words in this way. (The reason of my design: I think the students can learn the words easily and directly in this way. And I also think it can draw the students attention and arouse their interest in learning English. With the help of the CAI, it can provide a real situation to understand the meaning of the words, not by presenting the new words one by one and telling them the Chinese meaning. So the students can remember the words quickly and naturally.)(3).play a guess game Show a ball picture and hide it ,let Ss guess( Purpose: )(4) 1a Match the words with the pictures. Then check answers(Purpose: )II .Present the structure:Play a game (up and down)First,Show a pen ask Ss “Do you have a pen?”,If you have stand up.,if not sit on your chairs(Tell the rules to them)(1) Show the ppt and say: (The game begins)I have a basketball.
