Go for it 教材 八年级上册Unit 10If you go to the party,youll have a great time!The First Period Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、Analysis the contents of Unit101.The Importances of Unit10 本单元语言目标是用If引导的条件从句谈论结果。 在SectionA中,涉及到了使用if引导的条件从句来说明了以不同的方式去参加聚会会出现的各种结果。本课时是一般将来时态的延续,为正确运用这个时态提供场景,也为条件状语复合句的学习奠定基础,具有承前启后的作用;就整个单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元的知识扩展和语言综合运用奠定基础。2.Teaching aims and demands:a. Knowledge objects: (1)Students can master the sentence pattern with if. If I do , what will happen ? If I do , I will do. If we do, what will happen ?If we do,we will do(2) Students can use the sentences with if properly.b.Ability objects:Students can talk about consequences.C.Sensibility and value:Students can take an active part in all kinds of activities in an English class. Students can express their feelings in simple English and cultivate helpful feeling .3.Teaching keys and difficulties:(1)1)Students can master the sentence pattern with if. If we do, what will happen ?If we do,we will do(2) Students can use the sentences with if properly.二、Analysis students.八年级学生已学过了一般现在时和一般过去时,但对于我们身处边远山区的孩子来说,由于没有把学过的英语知识用到生活中去,也从来没接触过外国人,因此即使是学过的知识,一绝大部分学生都还对这两种时态掌握的不够好。所以在本单元的学习中,学生们仍然要将时态搞混淆,老师还是不得不要复习和巩固这两种时态。三、Teaching methods:Watching , listening and speaking methods.Demonstration methodActivity approach四、Teaching aids: CAI A chart 五、Teaching Procedures:Step1. Lead-in(3minutes)1. Let students watch a video called The Trader And The Doney2. The teacher asks students a question about this story.If the man sells the salt, what will he do ? ( 设计意图:让学生观看伊索语言英文故事视频,激发学生浓烈地学习英语的兴趣。)Step2. Presentation(10minutes)Transitional sentences: Teacher says next Look at this picture .This is Jerry. She is an exchange student from America in our class.Now she will tell us a story about Boonies Bear and she .What will happen in her story?1 Show a picture of Jerry and Boonies bears to students and tell them to learn a story about them.2. Show some pictures of them and ask some questions.(1) A: If I go to a forest ,what will happen ?B: If I go to a forest , I will meet Briar and Bramble.(2) A: If I meet them, what will happen ?B:If I meet them, I will play with them .(3) A: If I play with them , what will happen ?B: If I play with them , we will be good friends.(4) A: If we are good friends, what will happen ?B: If we are good friends, we will catch logger Vick.(5) A: If we catch logger Vick, what will happen ?B: If we catch logger Vick, we will be happy.(设计意图:通过Jerry这个交换生给我们讲述她和熊出没的故事为主线,再利用多媒体图片的展示,给学生营造了良好的学习英语的语境,让学生能在真实的情景和语境中学习新的句型。)3.Practice in pairs. (6minutes)a. Let Ss read the model with a partner and practice conversations.Tips: As the pairs work, the teacher move around the classroom checking students progress and offering assistance as needed.(提示:当学生进行结对活动时,教师在全班巡视,检查他们的进展并在必要时提供帮助。)b. Ask two or three pairs to act these conversations.A: If I go to a forest ,what will happenB: If I go to a forest , I will meet Briar and Bramble.(设计意图:学生通过同伴交流对今天所学的新句型进行机械操练,进一步将新知识加以练习、巩固,并通过表演纠正学生语音及语法错误。)Step3 Listening practice (6minutes)Transitional sentences: Jerrys story is over. Teacher says there are some Jerrys friends such as Peter ,John talking about what they will do to the party.Play the first recording 1.Listen and match the sentences with the pictures.(Work on 1b)2.Check answers. Play the second recording and fill in the blanks.(Work on 1c)(设计意图:通过听力练习, 培养学生的语感,让学生将所学的新知识再进一步进行巩固和掌握,让学生在听力中体会到了刚学的新的句型,让学生真的感觉到了学以致用。)Step4 Groupwork (12minutes)Transitional sentences: Teacher says Jerry is an exchange student .She wants to know what our students will do if it is sunny on Saturday? She needs our help.So next lets help her make a survey.How will we make a survey?1.How will we ask other students?2. How will we write down their answers?3. How will we have reports?Tips: As the groups work, the teacher move around the classroom and supervise students work offering assistance as needed. (提示:当学生进行小组活动时,教师在全班巡视,监管他们的活动并在必要时提供帮助。)( 设计意图:通过这个帮助Jerry做调查的小组活动,能让学生们更加自由地进行交谈,还能培养学生间的合作意识,增进学生间的相互交流,从而增加了学生之间的友谊和相互了解。通过这个小组活动,也是学生把所学的新的句型运用到实际的生活中,也充分体现了新教材的理念“用英语来做事”,而且培养了学生助人为乐的情感。)Step5 Summary (2minutes)T: Lets retell this story . Teacher shows all pictures of this story.S: One day, if I go to a forest ,I will meet Briar and BrambleT: At last , If we are happy ,what will happen? (设计意图:通过老师和学生一起复述熊出没和Jerry的故事,顺理成章的对本节课的内容做了一个总结。这样不仅有利于培养学生归纳总结的好习惯,而且也进一步让学生清晰、明了本节课学习的重点。)Step6 Homework(1minute) Teacher says at last If we are happy ,what will happen?This is Todays homework. Use your imagination and write about If Jerry, Briar and Bramble are happy ,what will happen?
