新目标英语八年级(上)Unit 6 Im going to study computer sciencesectionA 1a-2d教学设计山西省襄垣县第二中学 李俊平 教学目标:1、知识与技能:学习本单元的重点词汇和目标语言;能正确使用want to be谈论自己与他人未来的理想职业;能正确使用be going to结构谈论为实现理想所做出的打算和安排。2、过程和方法:能综合运用看、听、说和讨论等有效手段来获取、处理和传递信息;能借小组活动的机会,积极用英语与其他人交流来学习、理解和使用目标语言,从而提高听说能力和口语表达能力。3、情感态度与价值观:通过与其他同学交流、谈论有关未来理想职业等话题,树立健康积极的生活目标。教学重点:1、Key vocabularyComputer programmer , cook , doctor, engineer ,violinist,Driver,pianist,pilot,scientist and so on.2、Target languageWhat do you want to be when you grow up?I want to be an engineer.How are you going to do that?Im going to study math really hard.教学过程Step 1 Greeting and revisionT:Good morning ,boys and girls!Now,lets revise the nouns about jobs we learned.Please look at the picture(showing a picture).What does he do?Ss:He is a cook.T:Wang Fei ,please write down the word“cook”on the blackboard.Whats she?Ss:She is a doctor.(教师用同样的方法,复习了所学过的职业名称,此时所有学过的职业名词都列在黑板上,并补充更多的职业名称)点评:采用图片复习,形象直观,对学生有吸引力,通过师生互动,强化了What does he do?/Whats she? He/She is 等句型,更重要的是上节课及以前所学的职业词汇进行了生动的呈现。Step 2 Task One任务:Choose a suitable job操作步骤:1、 布置任务,并为每个学生提供课前准备好的表格。T:First fill in the chart. Then read the information to your partners and talk about your personality and your ideal job. Ask your partners for some advice.Personal InformationName: Hobby: Be good at: Personality: Ideal job: Suitable jobs: Friends suggestions: Resolutions: 2、学生根据自己的实际情况填写表格,并思考自己的理想职业及适合自己的职业。3、学生两人一组结对活动,互相介绍各自信息并征求同伴的建议,然后制定各自实现理想的计划。完成任务所需要的语言结构(教师一边示范、一边用投影仪呈现):1、My hobby is I am good at I am outgoing/serious/ 2、 You should/shouldnt/could/had better/ 3、 Why dont you/not 4、 I am going to 点评:这一任务的设计贴近学生生活实际,寻求适合自己发展的职业,也是每个学生关心的问题,部分学生需要在别人的帮助下确定自己的生活目标,并制订出相应的计划,在完成任务的过程中巩固了所使用的语言结构,也为下一项任务作了铺垫。Step 3 Task Two任务:Tell their own dream job and how to do that 操作步骤: 1、布置任务 T:There are so many jobs in the world. Which is your favorite job? What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? Next, You will talk about your dream job and how you are going to make your dream come true in your group.2、 四人小组进行分工,每组确定一个组织者,一个采访者,一个笔记者,一个汇报者。3、教师为学生提供以下表格,活动结束时,笔记员要将每个成员的情况填在表内。NameWhatHowS1S2S3S44、教师选几组进行汇报,其他同学认真听汇报,教师要对汇报作出评价,并校正语言错误。5、最后各组把表格贴在教室的墙上,以致共分享互勉励。完成任务所需要的语言结构: 1、A:What do you want to be when you grow up? B:I want to be a/an when I grow up.1、 A:How are you going to do that? B:Im going to Sample report: Xiao Ming wants to be an actor and he is going to take acting lessons. Xiao Hong wants to be a computer programmer and he is going to study computer science. Xiao Gang wants to be a school teacher and he is going to study education. I want to be a cook and I am going to go to a cooking school.点评:此活动为四人小组活动,在此项活动中,学生以小组为单位,分工协作,通过思考、讨论、查阅、交流和合作等方式,一起来完成任务,学生头脑中所储存的语言材料,如语法规则、句型、结构、表达方式都被激活并运用起来,通过完成任务,学生熟练掌握了本单元的目标语言,感受到“学以致用”的乐趣,提高了用英语做事的能力,竖立理想。Step 4. Task Three任务:Make New Years resolutions操作步骤:1、 布置任务T:New Year is coming. Many people make their New Years resolutions. Some people are going to visit some interesting places. Some are going to take more exercise to keep healthy. Others are going to study hard to get good grades. What about your Now Years resolutions? Do you want to improve your life? Do you have any plans for the new year?Next, you will say something about your New Years resolutions to your group members. First write down your resolutions.
