Teaching PlanUnit 15 Learning Lesson 3 TeachersType:Reading姓名:高阳班级:外国语学院英语专升本130班学号:1553130009专业:英语(专升本)(师范)指导教师签字:_8Unit 15 Learning Lesson 3 Teachers Background information: Topic:Teachers Type:Reading Time:30 minutes Students:40 senior high school students,Grade 2 Teaching material: Unit15 Learning Lesson 3 Teachers Aims and requirements; After studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of students growing of mind,I think the teaching aims are the followings:1.Knowledge objects: (1) the students can master the use of third conditional, the usage of wish and should have done.(2) the students can understand the content of the lesson:(3) the students can read a text to find out specific facts2.Ability objects:(1)To develop the Students abilities of listening, speaking, and reading, especially reading and speaking abilities.(2) To develop students awareness of cooperation(3) To use the information from the text to finish some exercises3.Emotion objects:Students can use English to discuss their favorite teachers and schools,improve their interest in English learning. Main points: content of lesson ,grammarDifficult points: the usage of wish and should have The teaching methodsIn this period, I will take some teaching methods to help the students understand and master the text, and further deepen and widen their thoughts .They are: 1.Elicitation method 2. Discussion and cooperation 3. task-based teaching 4. conclusion The teaching aids: 1.blackboard 2.chalk The teaching procedures:Step1 Pre-readingActivity 1 Free talk (class work)I will invite students to answer the following questions.Q1: Who was your favorite teacher at primary and junior high school?Q2: why do you like him/her?What changes does he or she bring to you?Activity 2 Picture-talking (individual work) Guide the students to look at the pictures in the text and read the brief introduction followed by pictures. Guiding questions may be:Q1: Whos she/he?Q2: Is he a student or a teacher? Q3: What kind of teacher-student relationship do you think they have?Goal: To lead up to the topic, get students to warm up and arouse their interest in the topic,finish 1a.Step 2:While-readingTask1: Fast readingActivity 1 Skimming (class work) Students are required to go through the whole passage quickly to get the general idea and pay special attention to the first or last Para of the article (or the first sentence or the last sentence of each Para.) Then ask student volunteers to tell about the major content of the passage.Goal: To develop students reading skill - skimming, that is, how can we get the general idea of a passage as quickly as possible. Activity 2 Vocabulary Encourage students to read the passage again, and see how much they understand the text, and let them find the words that hard to understand.I Write the words on the blackboard and explain them,for example; 1.atom- n原子 2.simplified-adj 简化了的 v 简化(simply的过去式) 3.Worthwhile- adj值得努力的 4.fellow-n 同伴 fellow students同学Step3 Post-readingTest your memory,for example Complete the sentences from the passage from your memory.When Graham came into my class, he was a bit “_”.(difficult) a bit 有点儿,稍微 例句:Please open the train window a bit .请把 车窗打开一点点。 be full of 充满 例句:The lake is full of big fish. 湖里都是大鱼。 Wish的用法;1.用于wish后面的从句,表示与事实相反的情况,或表示将来不太可能实现的愿望。其宾语从句的动词形式为: 真实状况wish后 从句动作先于主句动词动作现在时过去时(be的过去式为 were) 从句动作与主句动作同时发生过去时过去完成时(had + 过去分词)将来不大可能实现的愿望将来时would/could +动词原形I wish I were as tall as you.我希望和你一样高。He wished he hadnt said that. 他希望他没讲那样的话。I wish it would rain tomorrow. 我希望明天下雨就好了。2.Wish to do表达法。 Wish sb / sth to do I wish to see the manager. = I want to see the manager. I wish the manager to be informed at once. (= I want the manager to be informed at once.) Should have done的用法: should have done只用于谈论过去情况,主要有两个用法:1,。用于推测过去已经发生的情况。如:He should have arrived by now. 此时他本该到了。The letter should have arrived by now. 信现在该到了。The train should have already left. 火车大概已经开走了吧。I cant think why he should have been so angry. 我想不通他怎么会这样生气。2.用于指本该发生而实际上未发生的情况。如:You should have told me so before. 你早就应该告诉我。Look at the time! We should have been at the theater ten minutes ago. 瞧都什么时候了! 十分钟前我们就该到戏院了。George never should have joined the army. 乔治本来就不该参军的。You should have told me you were coming. 你该事先告诉我你要来呀。You should have writtenI was getting worried. 你该来封信啊我都开始担心了。John should have left have left by tomorrow. 到明天约翰可能已走了。Write a few comments that the person in each picture would make about the situation they are in. Use wish or should /shouldntExample:SA:I wish it wasnt raining.SB:SC:.3 minutes later , Ill ask several students to voice their opinions.Think about what has happened in your life and what you did or didnt do over the last year. Express your regrets using I wish and I should/shouldnt have. Tell the class something about yourself.: Summary;In this lesson,we introduce the new skills to understand the context.For example,elicitation method and task-based method.We also use the skimming and vocabulary to understand context.We take many examples to explain the grammar of wish and should have.: Homework.
