Teaching key points 1) Master the key words in this period . 2) Go on to learn the usage of countable nouns and uncountable nouns. 3) Use “would like” to express their need for food and learn how to order food.2. Teaching proceduresStep one : Lead-in Free talk . Talk about the weather Step two : New words 1.Present the new words 1) Show a Noodle House picture to arouse their interest of noodles . 2) Show the pictures and teach the new words of food using the structure What would you like ? I like . At the same time , pay attention to the countable nouns and the uncountable nouns . 3) Just teach the words they cant read several times . 4) Ask them to try to read the new words together . Purpose : This part is very important. I think it is much easier for the Ss to learn if I present the key structures one by one and they can master the structures quickly by doing this.2. Practice the new words 1) Read the words together. 2) Read the new words one by one in groups , and compete which group is best . 3) Missing words . 4) A game -What you see . Look at the screen carefully and tell me what you see . 5) Do 1a . Purpose : I designed different and interesting games to arouse there interest and help them know the new words well . At the same time let the students have a chance to practice their listening and spoken abilities .Step three : The target language 1. Present the target language Show the specials in my noodle house . At the same time ,practice the structure What kind of noodles would you like ? I like . 2. Help them say more kinds of noodles . 3.Make their own conversations in groups . Then show the conversations in class .Purpose : This part is very important of the lesson . The students abilities of speaking and communication will be well trained . Set a real surroundings can encourage the students to communicate with the others . They can say loudly and freely . They will feel happy and successful during this part . By way of communication , the students will understand the meaning of the structure better and master the knowledge firmly . Step four : listening 1. Read the instructions , make sure the students know what they should do . Let the students find out what kind of noodles my friend would like . 2. Play the recording several times of they need . Find out the answers . 3. Listen and repeat . Check the answers . 4. Use the structure to talk about the persons in 1b. Purpose : In this step, students can further develop their abilities of finding the specific information while listening. In addition, repeating is also good for students to improve their pronunciation .Step five : Expansion 1. Show Time Work in groups and make their own conversations . Purpose : During this part , the students can think and say freely , they will be glad to use the knowledge they have learned , and their creative power will be trained . Step six : Summary and motto 1.Sum what we learned in this class . 2. When you invite different foreigners to have noodles , it has different table manners . If you invite Americans , you can not make any sound during the meal , it shows be polite . But if you invite Japanese, you must make sound , it shows the noodles are very delicious .
