科 目英语年 级八年级课 型听说课主备人秦慧芳单 位丁峪学校授课教师秦慧芳单 位丁峪学校课 题UNIT 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?课 时第二课时(2a-2d)评论或修改教学目标知识与能力: 本节课以制作水果沙拉和罗宋汤为话题,主要谈论一些常见的家庭饮食方面的制作方法,通过丰富多彩的口语练习,掌握制作方法的同时,又在语言情境中,对一些动作和顺序副词加以区分和应用,熟练掌握这些动词和顺序副词。过程与方法: 听:能听懂制作水果沙拉和罗宋汤的对话材料。 说:能够描述制作水果沙拉和罗宋汤的过程。 读:能读懂介绍关于制作食谱的文章。 写:能写出 Section A Part 2a-2d中的重点单词和重点句型,并能够为自己最喜欢的食物写食谱。情感态度与价值观: (1)培养学生与人交往中具有的积极态度; (2)了解更多的关于制作水果沙拉及罗宋汤的过程及配料;询问或描写一种食物的制作过程。 (3)培养学生的概括与推理能力。 (4)培养学生的跨学科学习能力。 (5)培养学生的逻辑排序能力。 (6)培养学生勤于动手的能力,养成健康良好的生活习惯,成为一个懂得感恩、热爱生活的人。重点难点2a-2d部分的重点是:听说教学,通过针对水果沙拉制作所需食材与数量的对话,将学生带入食物制作的语境中。听力活动按梯度设计,学习祈使句以及How many/How much.? 句型,同时涉及动词和动词短语的使用、量词的表达等。2a-2d部分的难点是:表示制作程序的动词和动词短语的表述,另一个难点是量词的准确表达,如a cup of, three pieces of, two spoons of等。教具学具准 备 a tape recorder; multi-media courseware; cards; paper cooking materials程 序教师活动学生活动评论或修改一. 创设 情境Teaching Procedures:Step 1 Warming up and lead-in 1. Greetings with simple but interesting questions to attract Ssattention. 2. Task 1 Show a set of pictures to students to observe and relax. (This activity make students be interested in this English lesson) 3. Task 2. Revise the names of some vegetables, meat, fruits and drinks. 二. 提出 问题 Step 2 Presentation1. Question presentation:1) Teacher: What are these? What kind of fruit do you like ? How do you make fruit salad? What ingredients and tools should we need?2) Ss discuss and then share their opinions. 三. 探究 问题2. Pre-listening1) Learn the words from the pictures. Pay special attention to the meaning and pronunciation of the countable nouns and uncountable nouns. 2) Q&A part:Teacher: How many bananas can you see? Student: I can see five.Teacher: How much honey can you see? Student: I can see a bottle. 3) Guide Ss to try to complete the chart with food names in correct forms. ( Justification: The grammar and vocabulary can clear the barrier for listening and active students background knowledge.) 3. While-listening1) Note-taking and checkListen to the tape for the first time. Write down all the expressions with food. Listen for the second time and take notes according to the expressions got in the first listening.( Justification: The teacher can suggest some ways of note-taking. The ability to take notes can be improved with the help of teacher.)2) Blank-filling Listen again and make sure that every expression with food can be fully understood. The fill in the chart with correct amount of the ingredients.( Justification: In the activity, the students apply the knowledge in the fill-in questions. The efficiency of the listening classroom can be checked.)4. Post-listingDo a role-play in pairs.Based on the listening content, ask and answer questions about how to make fruit salad. Talk about your ideas related food-making process in everyday life.( Justification: The students will consolidate what they have learned in the pair-work. Meanwhile, the interest in learning English will be improved.)Step 3. Practice using the target language1) To show a amazing video of Russian soup from the bite of China, thus arousing students learning interest.2) Ask some questions about the video and introduce the background knowledge of the Russian soup. 3) Teamwork. Ask four students to start their conversations like the sample conversation in 2d. Each of the student tries to describe a process, and the other two students play a role as their interpreter respectively. For example, the can add gestures and use paper food materials prepared to make the show more vivid and interesting.( Justification: This activity can active students enthusiasm and autonomy. )4) Try to talk about how to make your favorite food in group.
