Warm upReview the new words.II.Lead inWatch a video“Hows the weather today?”III.Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. Then check the answers.3. Read the sentences in 1a, then learn the new sentences: Hows the weather in Beijing? /Whats the weather like in Beijing?Its sunny/windy/cloudy/raining/snowing.IV. Listening 1. Listen to a song “Hows the weather?” 2. Listen again and write it down.The first group of Ss write the first part and so on. 3. Listen again and check the words of the song, and then read the words together.4. Let Ss look at the city names in the box in 1b, then Ss read them after the teacher. 5. Listen and write these city names in the boxes above.1b 6. Listen and repeat, then check the answers. V.Pair work 1. (Show some pictures) Imagine you are in one of the places in 1a. Talk about the weather with your friend on the phone. 2. Ss work in pairs. Then ask some Ss to show their conversations. VI.Listening 1.
