Do you like music?Ss: Yes.T: Can you play the guitar?Ss: No.T:OK. Now, please look at the screen. Who is he? Yes, he is Zhang Jie.He has many talents,he can sing,he can dance.Can you sing? Can you dance?Lets talk about other pictures. 环节说明:由学生感兴趣的歌手张杰等众所周知的明星过渡到询问对方才艺,让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中接收到关于教学目标的信息。 Step 2. Presentationa. Teach some new words and expressions using some pictures.b. Play a game: Can you guess?c. Look at the pictures. Ask and answer like this: A: Can you sing?/dance?/swim?/speak English?/.etc. B: Yes, I can. / No, I cant. Can you?d. Ask and answer in pairs.e. Ask the students to look at the pictures , there are some clubs in it. Lets look at the clubs. What are they? They are art club, English club, chess club, swimming club and music club. What club do you want to join? Help the students to answer I want to join the art club and so on. f. T: I can sing. I can dance. I can play the guitar. I want to join the music club.etc. Ask students to make sentences like that. g. Look at the pictures in 1a. Point to the activities the people in each club are doing. Say something about each clubs activity clearly. For example, This is a chess club. See the chess? They are playing chess.Ask the students to match each club activity in the picture with a word from the list. For example: A can dance, so we can write “a” beside dance. The answers are: 1.dance a 2. swim e 3. sing f 4. play chess b 5. paint d 6. speak English c 7.play the guitar g 环节说明:利用图片学习生词,并用游戏的方式进行对生词的巩固,还借此展现本课的句型。由单词到句子,由易到难,逐步学习、操练。二、师生互动 理解新知Step 3: Doing pairwork (1c) Lets look at the conversations and practice them again.Work in pairs to make up a new conversations. You can use the vocabulalary from 1a. Then practice the conversation in the front of the classroom.A: Can you swim? B: No,I cant.A: Can you swim? B: Yes,I can.三、语法讲解 掌握新知Step 4: Language points1. can 的用法can 意为“能够”,这里用来谈论人的能力。否定形式:cant = can not 不能够 can 是个情态动词,不能独立存在,必须与动词原形构成句子的谓语。can 没有人称和数的变化。如:I can speak English well. 我能讲英语很好。Jack can swim, but I cant. 杰克会游泳但我不会。She cant play chess. 她不会下棋 。2、play 意为“玩,打;演奏(乐器)”play 后跟体育运动时,不用冠词。play soccer 踢足球 play basketball 打篮球play 后跟乐器时,要加定冠词 the。play the guitar 弹吉它 play the piano 弹钢琴 四、课堂小结 梳理新知Learn to use modal verb can; Yes/No questions and short answers; Affirmative and negative statements; What questions五、深化练习 巩固新知 一、翻译下列词组。1、下国际象棋 _ 2. 说英语 _3. 想要做某事 _ 4. 参加美术俱乐部 _5. 英语俱乐部 _ 6. 音乐俱乐部 _7. 国际象棋俱乐部 _ 8. 游泳俱乐部_9. 踢足球 _ 10. 听起来不错_二、用所给单词的适当形式填空。1.
