Grade 8 Go For It!Unit 10 I am going to be a basketball plyer!说课稿Good morning,everyon! I feel great honor to stand here to talk to you about my lesson. Today I am going to talk the teaching plan for Grade 8 Go For It! Book1 Unit 10 I am going to be a basketbll player!section A The topic for my talk is to foster the studentscoopertion spirits and their abilities of using English. I prpare to say this lesson from six parts.Part One :The Aanlysis of the Teaching Material1. Status and FunctionThe lesson is the first period of this unit.The grammer of this unit is the Future Tense.The target language is:What are you going to be when you grow up?I am going to be a/an.It is used to talk about you future intention.So talking about studentsfuture intention is the topic and function of this unit.In this unit, we mainly use “be going to do”to express what will happen in the future and talk about studnts future intention. It also related to uing “be doing”to express what will hppen in the future and talking about students future plan in unit 3 What are you doing for vacation? So this unit not only help students consolidate the old knowledge,but also provide the topic and language atmophere to study the rest parts of this unit.2. Analysis of the students The topic is very practicl in our daily life,so it can attract students intrests and accelerate them to learn English well. After lerning this lesson,they will know a new exprssion to ask about future intention and how to use “be going to”to express what will happen in the future.3. The Main,Difficult and Key PointsThe Main point The new words and expressions about how to ask about students future intention.The Difficult Point The Future Tense :use “be going to” to express what will happen in the future.The Key Pointa.To arouse students intersets in learning English.b.To make students communicate with each other actively.c.To enable students study in groups and cooperate skillfully.1. Teaching Aids Multi-media computer ,tape-recorder, pictuers , chalks ,school things and so on .Part Two:Teaching Aims and Demands According to the New Curriculum Criteria, students should be able to communicate with each other simply about their familiar topics and learn from and help each other.So I make the following objects:1.Knowledge Objects.To master the new words:pilot, engineer, computer programmer .To master the language target: What are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be a/an.To master the Future Tense:“Be going to” is one of the expressions of the Future Tense. It is used to express what will happen in the future.2. Ability Objects .To develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. .To develop students ability of talking about students future intention with each other. .To train students ability of working in pairs.3.Moral Objects Having students realize that Rome was not built in one day.If they have a dream,they must make every efforts to realize it.We should put moral education into the language teaching.Part Three:The Teaching MethodAs we all know, the main aims of learning English in Middle School is to cultivate studentsabilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing and their good sense of the English language.So in this lesson I will mainly use “Communicative Teaching Method” and “Task-based Language Teaching Method”.The “Task-based Language Teaching Method” is to foster the students ablities of using English into practice and communicating in English.The students have great interests in the topic about future intention and they will be very happy to talk about it. I will give students enough chance to talk.In order to arouse their interests,I use pictures.After presentation,I will give them enough time to think,understand and express.In the process of teaching,I carry on the communicative principles and the Task-based Languange Teaching Method.Students learn new language by watching, understanding, remembering and concluding.Part Four:Studying Method1. Teach students how to master a dialogue and how to communicate with each other.2. Let the students pass “Observation-Imitation-Practice” to study language.3. Teach students how to be sucessful language learners.4. Teach students how to learn independendtly.5. Get students form good learning habits.Part Five:Teaching ProceduresStep 1. RevisionShow some pictures to students to arouse their interestsin learning English. Ask them the jobs of the person in these pictures:What dose she/he do? Then ask them: Do you want to be one of them? Whats about your own dream? to introduce the topic of this lesson:future intention.Next ask a student come to the blackboard to write down the name of the jobs they do. Step 2. New Words Teach students three new words about job:pilot, engineer, computer programmer. Step 3. Presentation First present two new sentences: What are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be a/an Then teach students the knowledge of the Future Tense.The structure “be going to” is one of the expressions of the Ftuture Tense.It is used to express what will happen in the future.And teach them how to use it.Then use the new learned sentence to talk with students about their future intention. Step 4. Practice Make a free talking between students to encourage them to use new learned target language to practice. Step 5. Summary Summarize the main point learned in this lesson. I am He/She is going to do sth. We/You/They are Step 6 Homework1. Make an interview to your classsmates about his/her future intention then make a form.2. Write a short composition about “My Dream”.Part Six:Blackboard DesignI will divide the blackboard into four parts.From l
