Ask and answer in pairs.Teaching difficult pointsNew words: climbing, playing, jumping and sleeping.Teaching Aids1. Word cards.2. Sentence cards3. Many yellow stars.Step 1Preparation1. Stand up, clap your hands. Lets do morning exercise: Up, up, up. Down, down, down. Left, left, left. right, right, right. Then I say up, up, up you say down, down, down. At last tell them “Doing morning exercise is good for us.” 2. Let them remember the dialogue of lets talk. Read the two words: drinking and eating. 3. Tell them today well go on studying unit5 part B lets learn and lets play. Ill divide you into two groups. Boys are Mike. Girls are Chen Jie. Come on, boys and girls.【设计意图】:1.用边说边拍手的方式让学生放松。2.让学生背诵B部分所学对话,复习eating和drinking两个词,它们再出现时学生能清楚地发音。 3.直接引出今天要学习的内容。Step 2Whole-studying(1) We all know that Chen Jie has a dog. Its name is Fido. John always plays with him. He often takes him to the park. Chen Jie has a big park. There are so many animals in the park. They are all Chen Jies friends. Do you want to see them?【设计意图】:给学生一个整体的画面感,让他们产生好奇心。他们期待着接下来会看到哪些动物在陈杰的公园里。 Step 3 New words1. The first friend is Fidos brother. Its name is Haha. Ask the students: Do you want to see? If the want to see Ill test them at first. Ask them to read the word of “drinking”. Because they have learned this word in “Lets talk.” Take out the word card. Let them read it one by one. Then show the dynamic picture of Haha and ask: Whats Haha doing now? They can answer by Haha is drinking water. 2. Show off the word of eating. Let the students read the word together. Tell them there is a cat. Its name is Mimi. Ask “Whats Mimi doing now? Theyll answer: Mimi is eating. I say eating what. Mimi is eating the watermelon. Let all the students read the sentence. 3. The third friend is Mimis brother. Its name is Mini. If the students want to see him. They must read the word of “climb”. Find some students to read this word. Tell them “b” no pronunciation. Then listen to the word of “climbing”, read after the radio. Then find a student to be a teacher. Teach other students to read the new word.4. There are two cats. They are so cute. They are Mimi and Minis sisters. Theyre twins. Show the dynamic picture then ask: “Look! What are they doing now?” The students can answer: “Theyre playing.” Let two students to read the new word and do the action. They teach other students to read this new word. Then I say the sentence: “Theyre playing with each other.” I teach them to read this phrase. Then ask other students: “What are they doing?” Theyll answer: “They are playing with each other.”5. The fifth friend is so big. Listen to the sound of this animal. Let them to guess what it is. Then show the word “jump”, they can read. Show “jumping”, some students can read, too. I hope they read the new words “jumping” together. Show off the dynamic picture of the big dinosaur. Its name is Zhuangzhuang. Say many times: “Zhuangzhuang is jumping in the park.” together.6. We see many animals in this park, but where is Fido? Do you see him? Listen to the sound of snoring. Ask the students: “Whats he doing now in Chinese?” Some students will say: “在睡觉”,then show the new word “sleeping”. Listen to the tape, read after it. Teach them to read this new words so many times. Let them read it one by one. Then say: “Fido is sleeping on the sofa.”【设计意图】:在一整个故事情节的代入下认识这些新朋友并在声、形并茂下学习这些新单词,学生兴趣浓厚。他们一直在好奇接下来会认识哪一位新朋友。其中eating和drinking这两个新单词在上一篇课文里已经学习过了,这里只是以复习的方法来进一步巩固。play jump climb这三个单词之前学过,加上“ing”之后请班上会读的同学作为小老师来带读,同伴效应效果不错。学习sleeping一词时则是听鼾声后让他们用汉语表达Fido在干嘛,教师直接带读新词sleeping。在故事情节介绍中教师用到句子“They are so cute.”以及短语“each other”,让学生在无形中学习了新短语和句子。可为环环相扣,引人入胜。Step 4Practice 1. All of the students stand up. I say they do. Then I do they say.2. Show the dialogue of Chen Jie and Mike. Let the students listen first, then find out the difference. Ask them to find out. Thats not “cat”, that is “rabbit”.3. Take out the sentence cards. Ask them to read the sentences.4. Open their books at Page52. Listen and number the word. Listen to the dialogue again. Then read the new words and dialogue together.5. Today I take many friends here, too. Look! Can you guess who they are? Ask and answer by what is heshe doing?6. Make sentences in pairs. Four students a group. Which group can write more sentences? Ill give your group four stars. 【设计意图】:通过各种不同的操练方式让学生更熟练地掌握句型“XXX is sleepingclimbing”来表达某某人正在做某事,并能根据实际情况使用sleeping climbing jumping playing eating drinking 等新词带入句子进行操练。在第一操练环节中“我说他们做”让学生理解这些现在分词的真正意义,之后的听音给单词标序号再一次复习巩固新单词。陈杰和迈克的对话采用先听音,找出听到的和看到的不同单词,让学生集中注意力,再出示单个句子然学生读,反复巩固效果倍加。最后分组连词成句,弥补了整堂课学生所欠缺的“写”这一技能。Step 5Study summary.Show students all the sentences and the words.【设计意图】:操练得差不多时,内容再现,总结已学内容,理清思路,让其找准复习目标。Step 6Homework:1. Make the new word cards after school.2. Read the new words each other.Step 7Show the homework of Class2. Tell the students, if you do, youll do better than them. Blackboard Design: 教学反思: 优点:优秀的教学设计都离不开创新,本节课亮点多多。1.利用已学对话复习单词eating drinking,减轻本节课学习任务。2.整节课都在一个故事情节里,陈杰家有个大公园,里面不止有Fido这一条狗狗,还有别的动物朋友。这样一来让学生对这节课充满了好奇,期待这节课的内容。3.一开始就进行男女生的分组,他们会在这种竞争里努力上进。在他们的期待下设关卡,想认
