Help students use the sentences: Can I help you? / The gloves are nice. / Can I try them on?3. Help students choose the suitable clothes according to the changes of the weather.教学重点教学难点1. Students can say the words and target sentences correctly and freely.2. Students can learn to use the sentences in daily life.教学准备CAI, word cards and realia.教学过程Step1. Warm-up1. Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you? Are you happy? Whats the weather like today? Oh, its a nice day! 2. Sing a song: This old hat.Step 2. Presentation & Practice1. T: Boys and girls, look at the screen, Childrens Day is coming, ok?S: Yes.T: We will have a fashion show on Childrens Day, lets have a look. (Ask Ss to look at some pictures and have a brainstorm) 2. Review the clothes by flashing the pictures.3. Teach the new words by showing pictures and realia, for example: T: Whats this? Oh, its a scarf. (have Ss listen and follow.) Then show more pictures and tell Ss: This scarf is nice, can I try it on? Ask Ss read and follow.4. Teach the other words by the same way. 5. Drill and consolidate the new words.6. T: Boys and girls, do you want to be in the show? Yes, I want to be in the show, too. But I dont have nice clothes. Where do I buy them?7. Lets doa. Listen to the chant.b. Say out : What do you hear.?c. Read the chant one by one.d. Act out Step 3. Consolidation1. copy the new words 2. read the chant.at home. 教师用多媒体播放教材P54的歌曲This old hat”来热身。 用即将到来的儿童节学校要举行服装展示活动来预设情境,出示单词的图片来复习学过的服饰类单词,从而导入新的单词。教学过程Ss: T: Lets go shopping, OK? (Take out a shopping bag )Wow! I like shopping. Look at these clothes! Theyre nice. (Show the target sentence): Can I help you? Theis / are nice. Can I try it / them on?8. The sentences structure: The _ is nice. The _are nice. Its a key and difficult point. So the teacher must pay more attention to the drill of the sentences.9. Divide Ss into groups and give them several minutes to practice the dialogs, (Combine “Lets play” part ) then ask several groups to act out the dialogs.Step3. Listen & Read1. T: Great! You did a good job! Now our friend John wants to buy clothes with his mom, too. What will they buy? Lets listen and answer the questions.2. Play the tape and answer the questions. 3. Play the tape again, ask Ss to read and follow.4. Role-play.Step 4. Wrap-up1. Group Work: Four students are in a group, one student is the shop assistant and the other three are the customers. Give them enough time to act out a dialog about shopping.2. T: Boys and girls, can you find the mistakes in these pictures? Help Ss learn to wear proper clothes according to the changes of the weather. For example: T: Its raining. I want to wear sunglasses and take an umbrella.S1:Sunglasses. 213. Ask Ss to finish “Complete and Say” Part. 4. Sing a song “This old hat”, first sing together, then ask Ss to sing the song with the substitution.Step 5. Homework1. Play the shopping game with your friends.2. Make a survey about your family members shoe size. Ask a student in your group to say out .5. T:.act out the animals in the farm to have a meeting.6.
